That's pretty ridiculous.
I wonder if those number might go down at United though as you have to factor in just how good Chelsea's defence and midfield are from set pieces.
Their defenders score more than their strikers.
Although I suppose it could even out seeing as our strikers are much better than theirs.
he's still created more chances than all of our CM's combined this season and he's barely played
TRS, I know what you mean. I usually pretty pessimistic but for some reason I get the feeling that Rooney will stay at United.
I know he's played up a bit in the past but I just get the impression that he won't actually want to play anywhere else as he comes towards the end of his career.
Why bother? As brilliant as he's been for us, when compared to the true greats I don't think Rooney's been that driven (which shows what a good player he is that he can become content), so why leave his comfort zone?
People will probably abuse me for that, but that's my opinion on him as a person, and why I could just see him thinking 'fack it, I'll stay up North at United and sign a massive new contract'.
Plus if ffp does look to be having the effect it was intended to, and with United coming into a LOT of money, would Chelsea even be willing to meet his wages and our transfer demands?
Maybe he will leave, but I think about some of these things and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he stayed after all this.
Lee Cattermole has probably done the same.
would you rather sell rooney this summer for say 25m or keep him for a year and hope he stays fit and plays well and lose him for free?
Raymond Verheijen:
Obviously, first of all, David Moyes is responsible for creating total chaos with exactly the same players who won the title last season.
Over the last 6 months, Moyes’ prehistoric training methods, poor player management & superficial tactical knowledge have been exposed.
And spending 200 mln will not solve the problem as these new players will either get injured or play in the wrong position with this manager
Depends on who the buying club were and also who we brought in during the summer.

still annoyed about Matic TRS? i am
I've not been Moye's biggest admirer of late but this Raymond Verheijen sounds like a total egotistical b*llend.
Raymond Verheijen is more famous for shooting his mouth off about various major clubs not having the right training methods than any actual achievements in the game.
Perhaps he is right. Not all people who like to make a lot of noise are worth listening to.
I reckon he's not even a real person and Hippo has just made up a twitter and wiki page for him.

Quite Mex.
I think it was a real missed opportunity but of course I don't know for sure that we weren't interested but it does seem that way.
I would be more annoyed if I knew that we were never interested in him when he was available than I would if I knew we were but he decided to join Chelsea because there's not a lot you can do about it. That's life really.
Bloody hell, he's even putting in the photoshop effort.
anyone seen much or anything of Jordie Clasie? a few little murmurs we might be interested in him, seems very highly rated
Jordie Clasie isn't a bad shout.
Technical sound, has good composure, can get stuck in ,runs around like a man man and has time on his side.
dont really watch much of the Eredivisie tbh
I might've seen him play during the summer in the European U21 Championships but I think he was mainly used as a substitute so I can't really remember anything about him.
Talented by all accounts though from what I've heard.
Don't really watch the Dutch league.
The players that I've been most impressed with from the brief bits I've seen of them are Adam Maher and Viktor FisCher.

Moyes doesn't buy no name jabronis from peasant leagues. He only buys a-list players and tall people
