I would certainly start to fancy us if we could add some genuine quality to our midfield. I still think it's going to be tough now, though, whoever we manage to sign.

i dont think it'll be Gundogan, could be Cabaye though

Bild recently reported that Gundogan's father and uncle have met with Barcelona several times about a potential move and they've probably had discussions with Madrid as well.

When the time comes for him to leave which it seems may likely be in the near future, he'll have his choice of clubs to pick from and I'd be lying if I said I think we'd have a better chance of signing Gundogan over Barcelona or Madrid but we shall see.

If this happens I will get a tattoo of Antonio Valencia all over my body.

Barca will be relying on the youth team when the taxman is done with them.
