Could always sell and bring in a loanee as a replacement so the money goes into the back pocket of KB sorry David Haigh.

Unless they've bid proper silly money, never going to happen.

Silly money, they offer £250K we reject, they offer £300K we snap their hands off, we have always excepted below market value for nearly all are players starting with Cantona

If they sell him I'll they can expect all hell to break loose.

How much would it take? 6-10m?

I don't think there's a chance of it happening anyway.

I think as I said a while ago the only business we will do is sell Ross and by the time the deal is done oh dear its to late to buy anyone!

6-10 million? not a cat in hells chance. 3.5 at most and bid will be accepted, then its down to Ross.

The fans did next to nothing when Bates sold player after player (better players than Ross) and destroyed the club.
So why would they do anything now?

RSL

Don't think you're better than the fans who kept attending games and supporting the team at its worst, because you 'boycotted' even though you don't go to games now anyway.

The fans won't tolerate our LAST player of any real quality being sold. This would be the last straw IMO.

Totally agree MaidinLeeds, selling our Captain (Again) would be utter madness and totally alienate the Fans

Best fan

Don't you know bates sold up because revie boycotted his one game a season he went to (still went to a glory game though)

Every player has his price.

When Midds were coming in for Ross, GFH never said that Ross was not for sale, I think they were just waiting for a better offer.

If you were Ross, you see club going nowhere, you see you've scored a few goals so your stock is high and you have a chance to go to Prem and you are at peak of career you have to consider it and I wouldn't blame him.

If GFH have money troubles, I would not bet my mortgage on Ross staying.

Well that thrown a spanner in the works of GFH....aye ?

Jonty

Just wait for the club to spin it and blame Ross

What the fook has changed !!!!!

Been here so many times haven't we, as Jonty said looking at it logically I wouldnt blame Ross for going, this club has owners who dnt appear to have resources to take us further, the takeover is a farce, total shambles!!!

posted on 24/1/14

The cynic in me says GfH have to sell him, if only to get the means to pay back the loan from Sports Capital (or whatever they're called).

I just hope people who blindly supported GFH and Haigh are now seeing the light.

All football fans should be cautious about any new owners and Leeds fans especially.

posted on 24/1/14

Also Jonty shows the idiots would said anyone but bates

That type of thinking sickens me

posted on 24/1/14

Jonty when will the nightmare end? It is one thing after another, I doubt GFH will listen to BM and will act unilaterally!!

posted on 24/1/14

I agree, i wouldn't blame Ross for wanting out of what has become a bit of a joke of a club, and i don't find it easy to say that
But too many chancers have been trying to grab a piece of the Leeds United pie for too long, just when we thought things might be improving, this latest takeover saga comes along and now the concern that we might be about to sell our captain, top scorer and all round best performer, It's sickening

Highland, you have to ask yourself why they made Ross captain.

Why did they make Snoddy captain?

Because that is all they have left to be able to offer to try and retain them.

Give Howson armband, he goes, give Snoddy armband, he goes, give Ross armband....
