everyone accepted even before Fergie announced his retirement that the squad needed a significant overhaul. Our current problems stem from the summer. The owners should have bought Moyes out of his contract and got him started in May not July and told Gill to stay on with Woodward until after the transfer window to ensure a smoother handover. The whole close season was badly handled and now we are suffering for it.
