I hope Wenger has learned from the Blackburn shambles from last season. Play your strongest team vs Liverpool. If it means we take a pummeling from Bayern, so be it.

Rex it's the same with the Bayern draw we spend all last season busting our ass to get into the top 4 and then when we draw a decent team in the CL half our fans start sh!tting themselves. The big games are what it's all about!

Not happy with the draw to be honest.

Spot on 8bit. Well said.

If anything this should hopefully push Wenger on to signing Draxler now.

We both know that isn't how Wenger works.

So United Liverpool and Bayern in 7 days
We wouldn't normally have any chance against you lot but you've go to rest players surely?

Rest players vs Bayern.

Doesn't matter whether he's cup tied. We'd play him in the Premier League and the FA cup.

I doubt Wenger would. He has to go for every trophy. Didn't you beat Bayern last season?

I reckon you lot would be very tired after so many tough games together. Wouldn't surprise me if you lose to the likes of Stoke/Sunderland afterwards.

Seeing as we're playing you twice and United before Bayern, I would imagine Wenger will prioritise these domestic games ahead of the Bayern tie. Would be criminal not too, considering we have a good chance of winning the FA Cup and progressing in the league too.

Well, it would surprise me. Stoke are crap and we are playing Sunderland at The Emirates. Anything less than 6 points would be very, very poor. Little margin for error with Chelsea and City on our heels.

They've only lost once at home (I think). You lot should beat them though, however the tough fixtures could demoralise you and we all know what that does.

Is february the month arsenal usually collapse.

As I posted on the article above, so long as we don't lose all the games during that tough run of fixtures, we will come out of it with a great chance to win a trophy.

So therefore I don't believe it is too bad a draw. We are the masters of our own destiny

Resting players does not mean weakening the team
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you serious? When you rest players you don't play your strongest XI, you means the team is weaker

you're always gonna get fixture piles ups like that when you're in the CL and cups, Pool fans forgotten what that's like it's been so long!
