See the pic of Hammills knee?
Good thread Jacko. I was impressed by the Cherries on Saturday. Gave Liverpool a good test. I'd be happy with a point, delighted at 3
6 points from the next 2 games, if that lot down the road win tomorrow they will be deluded for the play offs again.
Champers, Bournemouth are a poor man's Huddersfield, both play football. ... Town have the strike force.
Wetherby, speaking to our dad the other night, he says 0 points from our next two!
I sadly agree! Good thread jacko
No surprise there with you two hydy !
I can see Clarke returning to the defence tomorrow, either Ward of Scannell out wide to replace Hammill and Wells in up top alongside Vaughan....bring it on!
Surely you're not going Wakey?
Five ripe cherries from me Jacko.
I expect to win this one quite comfortably, Town hammered 'em in the reverse fixture. Not sure about Gobern in the middle, has he actually developed any further in the time he has been at Town?
I'd like Lolley to get a run out at some stage, which I'd expect Mr Robins will unleash him! Wells to get his third in his third game too.
Overall, Town will play the Cherries off the park and win well.
I've got a great feeling about this one, two nil to Town!
Robins might give Holmes a start in place of Gobern..play Clayton in Hogg's position ?
Scannell for Hammill (If he's out), or maybe Ward playing wide ?
Wells obviously will start, with Vaughan.
Can't see any more changes....One advantage we have is that B'muff will allow us space , they're at home so won't be doing a Millwall on us..
Surely Vaughan is due a goal or two...
4-0 to the Terriers !!
I certainly am Hydy. 12:58 from Wakey to London, a quick dash across to Waterloo and hoping to arrive about 18:00. Staying over though as you can't get back the same day
There's certainly places up for grabs - Hammill's for starters - and probably Ward's too. Think Gobern will retain his place with Wells in for Ward and Lolley or Scannell for Hammill.
Anyone notice that Lolley seems to be a like-for-like replacement for Ward? All left foot, cuts in from right and has a powerful shot - cheaper and hopefully better though. Think Hoyle will be cutting his losses on Ward to get him off the wage bill at the end of the season.

..or they could offer him a new contract, on £100 pw ?

That's a bit tight Jacko, make it £100 per week and a 5% goal bonus!
Im sure had they put a tattoo bonus in his pay packet we'd have seen a bit more from him.
Sounds like Hammill is out...just wished the lads all the best for tonight on Twitter...
That referee, Attwell, shud be kicked out of reffing, he's effing rubbish...always has been....
As Elvie often says on here "I've got a good feeling about this one" - why, you might ask? - well all the right ingredients are in place for a cracking 3-1 win for Town.
Well, every time a team has a mare at home and gets knocked out of the FA Cup, they generally go out in their next match all fired up, to win back their reputations and fans goodwill. Conversely, when at team meets a top Premiership side and puts in a good performance and although they lost, it normally take a few games afterwards for them to come down from the euphoria generated and get back to winning ways.
So, even though Bournemouth are a bit of a "Jekell & Hyde" team at home, having beaten high flyer's Leicester and Wigan, they have lost to low flyers such as Bolton, Brum & Blackpool.
So, as I say above, it's a nailed on 3-1 win for Town, with Wardy scoring at least one and laying on another, to shut up all his perennial knockers on here and prove what a snip he was at £1 million.
I've got a bad feeling about Ward in this one, at least five shots wide!
Lolley to score!
