OP I think you need to really understand the point that Wenger was making before you comment.
Whether or not you play the same amount of games within a year doesn't hide the fact that there are times where the games are necessarily cramped together like when we played Napoli on the Wednesday then Man City Saturday morning. with a big break after.
You can't tell me there won't be a repercussion on performance doing it this way

i understand that we played City at home on the sunday in a tough premier League game and then had to play Arsenal in the League cup on the Tuesday but we couldnt get it moved, as stated because it would be unfair to Arsenal.

Mourinho originally stated that he was confused as to why some Clubs got preferential treament as regards to moving fixtures and as that he couldnt hed be forced to put out a weakend side, which fortunately was good enough on the day. Had it been Home to exeter 36 hours before he probably would have said nothing.
