yes but the big one is Carroll! £35 mil for him is a no-no

first thing i would say about de gea is that he shld bulk up,looks ever so light for a keeper.....
henderson has had time to prove himself in the Premier League and speaks the language ( which is massive for a goal keeper ) Plus De gea is in a different class of standard then Henderson.

So are you saying that Henderson should not be given a chance to prove himself at a new club?
I have tweo thoughts on De Gea at the weekend.
Firstly I thought he was targeted and got bashed about a bit - I guess that pro football but thought the ref could have given him more protection.
Secondly - was his mistake that bad. Sure he got down late but it's not like it went through his legs surely.
Every player should be given time to prove themselves, though I'm not sure the comparison between henderson and de gea holds up. Totally different circumstances

Yes i agree that Carroll was overpriced, but that is a different matter!
will take him awhile to bulk up and needs to tuck his shirt in haha

Not at all. I just feel that one deserves slightly more time then the other. Henderson hasn't left is home country at a young age etc. The thing i feel bad about henderson though is his price. He never asked for it but he also doesn't have the ability to live up to it. Shame really.
er yeah i'm talking about goalkeepers.
why is that not allowed once you have signed a clown?!

Just how many games have you seen him play? Just out of interest. I'm thinking five tops.
I think Henderson will be a decent player but there are two major differences.
I think liverpool paid way over thetop because he's English and the biggest difference is that Henderson has played all his life here.
De Gea was born in Spain, speaks only Spanish and at 20 has made a massive move to another country, culture etc so to ask if the Henderson situation is the same is pointless.

The comparison was used because both are new to their respective clubs, I know Henderson has PL experience but I imagine it takes time to get used to a new team/team-mates/tactics etc!
A lot of fans will slate their rivals signings at any opportunity. I think that Dalglish knows exactly what type of player he wants at Liverpool and has picked signings accordingly. I would be surprised if Henderson flopped, although it may take him a few years to develop.
As for Carroll, he was no doubt over priced, but considering the situation that he was signed in, I don't think you can really complain. I think Carroll will be a success though, and I suppose that if you get 10 years of good service, then £35m isn't that much these days.
I think De Gea will be a big success, he just needs the fans' support and a little bit of time before he clicks.

I could not make the game as was working so have not seen it either.
People at the game said Enrique was solid and that Hendersion was poor.

A fair few more than that. Just my opinion. He won't be that great. I can see his career going along the lines of Jermaine Jenas. (sp)
There are better, younger players out there. Simple.

De Gea looked quality in Spain last season and you dont become a bad keeper over night. Wait until he's learned the language and gotten abit more acclamatised to the English game before judging him.
