Let's take Ghaly back too He only throws the shirt to the ground and plays for money
Half decent though

Ideally I wouldn't want Berbatov back after the way he disrespected us, but I've slightly changed my opinion of him being past it as a player. As a temp option I think he'd still offer something, and seeing as Spurs will do sod all else I'd want us to go for him as we need the back up in this area. Forget Kane, he's not good enough yet.
Disrespected us? Get over it!! It happens to every football team at some point. Yes, some players leave with dignity, others throw their dummies out. We're not the first club it's happened to and we won't be the last. You've got to remember that he had a chance to go to the (then) European Champions which only happens once in a career. Couple that with the fact that Levy always makes it difficult for good players to leave the club, you can kind of understand things a little. Yes, he shouldn't have gone on strike, but I wonder how many of you lot would have done the same thing in the same position. I didn't see anyone here having a problem when we poached Defoe from West Ham who did exactly the same thing to them. We do it to other clubs so it stands to reason bigger clubs will do it to us. The players mental strength is bound to get tested.
I say forgive and forget. Put it this way, I doubt very much whether you'd have a problem if Modric miraculously decided he wanted to come back next year.
He's still a good player, he's never relied on pace so I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Believe me if Berbatov was doing any good, firstly Man United would not have let him go, and secondly neither will Fulham. Half an hours good football against Spurs hardly constitutes him doing the business these days. Nearly all of Spurs ex players up their game when they play against Spurs. Expect the same from Huddlestone this weekend.
I would rather have Berbatov over Defoe, so if the situation pans out like that i'll be fairly happy tbh

Ghaly threw his shirt down in disgust at being subbed (after coming on as sub if I remember correctly)… he was not and did not intend to disrespect the club.

And Robbie Keane did exactly the same thing a few weeks prior but then it was seen as "passion" and he continued to be vice captain behind Ledley.
Plus, its a bit silly to compare it to Ghaly as i doubt he's even playing top flight football anymore.
Actually, i just looked it up and he plays for Lierse S.K. in the Belgian Pro League.
Football is a business. We play hard ball when trying to sign players so players play hard ball when they get an opportunity they want to go for.
For the sake of THFC, i would take him on loan if available. The last thing i would want to happen is for Arsenal to take him there and he help them win the league or A N Other trophy.
Think of it that way if nothing else.

As Sussex said, if its a choice between him and Kane on the bench its a no brainer. Still, with Sherwood denying the rumours it looks like he's going to use players like Eriksen, Chadli and Lamela as a second striker if needs be.
Bale's,
Are you saying you would rather Kane over Berbatov?
