They are some key players
When everyone is fit, I'd do the following
Against lesser teams 442
Lloris
Walker Chirches Verts Rose
Lamela Sandro Paulinho/Dembele Eriksen
Ade Soldado
Against stronger teams 433/451
Lloris
Walker Verts Chirches Rose
Lamela Paulinho Dembele Sandro Eriksen
Ade
I think you're being harsh on Lennon, Don. I agree that the other players you mentioned aren't good enough to start, but I think Lennon is the exception.
Edbo, not for me mate. I can't stand Azza and don't get the love affair on here. The guy tracks back well but that's about it. Offers absolute nothing in attack and him playing has stopped Lamela's progression with the club and he's twice the talent that Lennon ever will be.
I'm just proper depressed at the moment about Spurs.
Can't see Lloris and Verts staying in the summer and it won't be long before Sandro and Paulinho start attracting interest.
We have gone from a club with ambition and a clear project to a facking mid table 6th onwards team over night.
That along with the spending power of the big boys do we really harbour any hopes of ever winning the league? Not in my life time.
The best we can hope for is a plucky league cup, FA cup or Europa cup.
Sorry for being negative guys

It sounds a bit cliché nowadays, but I do think Lennon is really important for our balance and the shape of the team.
To me he is the sort of player you take for granted when he's playing, but miss him when he's not.
what sigs says...lloris isn't unhappy at the thought of not getting CL....
he's facked off at getting 4/5/6 put past him once a month.......
fackin joke at the back.....gaffer/coach with a sound defensive strategy is a MUST in the summer......
no team that hoovers around the top 4/5/6 has ever suffered as many dickings as us over the years surely......its facking embarrasing....more so now its happening at home to.
Is it the 09/10 season that we only conceded 10 goals at home all season? Conceded that in just two home games this season!
To add to my comment and further depress myself we had the chance to step up and consildate our top 4. All we needed to invest in a striker and not sell our players.
What did we do? Sold VDV, Modric, and Bale. That was our best team and chance of consildating top 4 and having a pop at the league. We bottled it and sold our facking players.
Fack Spurs and fack Levy.
Junction, couldn't agree more. We have been smashed all over the place everytime we play anyone decent and it's due to the fact we have so many average players starting each game.
tbf....he took the gamble as best we can this summer....its just backfired so far.....
we can't shop at the top table....we gotta sign these bright young....shown some promise players and hope we can push/adapt them further.......
we've missed our chance/s IMO we had 3/4 attempts and only got there once.......
Edin, just don't rate the guy mate and game in game out I been proven right
Fack off have you been proven right

To be fair, there is usually one or two dominant teams in the Premiership. At the moment it's City, it's been Utd, hell, even the Nomads had a spell.
Everybody else has to get on with their own thing.
Grimsby fans ain't Grimsby fans cos they think they'll win the league. They're just Grimsby fans and proud of that and their team.
At least we get a shot at a plucky cup win, most don't.
I'm Spurs, come what may.
Edin, apart from stoke name me another game where Lennon has been very good? Exactly, I been proven right and he's s hit

I do totally agree with that and will always support Spurs no matter what, but we had a genuine chance to consilidate top 4 and have a chance to rival with the big boys, the stars aligned, our youth purchases come to fruition (bale etc) as well as our prospect signings (modric) at the same time and we pulled of a transfer coup in VDV. We were almost there but we facked ourselves over.
Then sold our players and soul.
Siggy Exactly mate.
I've said it before, Levy bottled it big time. He should've taken the plunge, get the stadium build under way and got in a top dollar striker. Now he's missed the boat.
Sick against Utd, sick against palace twice, played well vs Fulham and Sunderland etc.
You would change your myopic viewpoint if we had the strikers converting half the chances he is creating.
Admittedly he may not be great against the top teams, but who in our team currently is?
In fact I think I would prefer Spurs to be sh$t then that way they don't raise your expectations just to fack you over.
Don't think we have average players... just mediocre coaches
Parody edin but when does Lennon ever create chances? Flying in over hit crosses, hitting the ball against defenders and cutting back everytime is not creating in my book. He is the most predictable player ever and more so than Townsend. The fact that Lennon has never progressed as a player speaks volumes I'm afraid mate. We have a player in lamela who is twice as talented but we refuse to give him a proper chance
Sorry not parody, stupid iPad
Me and Hengy and co have started counting the clear cut chances he creates on match threads, like properly good chances that the likes of Aguero etc will convert. Before this game he had created at least two every game (aside from the one vs Arsenal)
