I think the OP is a genius.

Dropping Ozil (right before kickoff) would really shake Liverpool up psychologically.

We need hard runners for the first hour (it's all about getting control of the midfield and preventing Suarez from getting on the ball).

Then, at 60 minutes (NOT 70!) bring on Ozil, and with his burst of pace and incisive passing a fresh Mesut will cut straight through Liverpool's average defence.

Doesn't say much for Arsenal's 42Million pound record striker, that he is not considered good enough to start against Liverpool .

I would like to see ox out wide and jack in the middle.

Liverpool and not city so I guess you don't need 2 robots running up and down all day but we will need defensive cover.

This is the team I would like to see.

Sagna -Per - Kosc - Gibbs
Jack. - Arteta. - Rosicky
Ox. - Giroud. Cazorla

Why should we have to change anything, we beat them comprehensively already this season with Ozil on the pitch, i expect the same again.

Home games and away games against big teams are very different my friend

I'm saying he would be best utilised as a super sub in this game as it is away from home and we don't have Walcott at the moment.

It would be different if it were at the Emirates or we had pace up front.

Wenger doesn't have the balls, or the nous, to take a gamble on releasing a fresh Ozil at Liverpool for the last half an hour.

I know, but we play the same wherever we are, home or away, it's doesn't make that much of a difference to us tbh. And Anfield has been a pretty good ground for us recently.

Sturidge is the worry for me.

He is very elusive and hard to mark

Against West Brom, he couldn't be found at all, with the exception of his appearance on the goal line to score.

I am so glad Wenger is in charge!

Don't worry, he'll be doing too much midfield work, helping stifle ours, rather than scoring.

My error, I meant to say 'signing'. I will correct:

"Doesn't say much for Arsenal's 42Million pound record signing, that he is not considered good enough to start against Liverpool".

I think it was also clear I meant Ozil by the fact I referenced £42Million and also the complete lunacy of a thought that Arsenal would buy a striker.

I think the point is valid.

Suarez is so often the feeder for Sturridge when they play together, remove Suarez or his supply of ball and we'll have a good chance to win.

We bought Ozil for the big occasion. Would be crazy to drop him in a game like this.

So, OP if you compare the team you put out against us in November (when you deservedly won) you'd swap:

Ramsey for Wilshere (enforced change but makes sense)
Ozil for Ox

Really? I know the game is at Anfield but as a Liverpool fan I'd be delighted to see you start with Ox, especially as he's just back from injury, over Ozil.

Not in favour of dropping Ozil.

Pools central midfield lack mobility and defensive nous without Lucas, he'll run Gerrard ragged in there. He and Ramsey completely bypassed them in the first game, hopefully Wilshere can step back in and do similar.

I'd imagine we will play Gerrard, Allen and Henderson against you, we won't go with the 4-2-4 we've played latley as we would be run over in the middle and that's how you beat us at the Emirrates by being far better in the middle.

I'd play Ozil.

We have been comfortable all season. I think he can and will step it up in these next few big games.

We've found a way to attack without playing the possession game at Anfield. Ask Everton.

Dear Arsenal Fans - lets distance ourselves from the 'football brain' comments please.

Wad the God anyone?
