Lukaku ( injured )
Baines
Coleman
miraless
Barry
Jags
Pienaar
Barkley
Are all very good players
im pretty sure most football fans with any sort of knowledge in general would never say benteke was 19,

What I'm saying is no manager is perfect, I wish more of our fans got some perspective and reality into their expectations

raptor, tell me about it mate. Pienaar at Everton was a quality player in his 1st stint then comes to spurs and becomes a pile of s hit overnight, moves back to Everton and he's playing well again FFS!! what is it with spurs and our ability to turn players s hit overnight
not sure if coleman is fit for sunday, hes missed the last 3 games I think, fingers crossed hes out.
Thudd, I get the feeling you are a lone voice of sanity on this board
Like Lamela (now) I just think some players aren't just suited to a team
Patience is needed
Pienaar was a decent player for Spurs, he was good in the San Siro for example.
Harry just never played him, absolute joke really. Just like Kranjcar, completely wasted.

really? why? he's not grown up playing in the prem. came from overseas as a young talent.
totally raw the way he plays suggests youth, certainly wasn't a known quantity when he came like say a lukaku was or a torres was….
so getting his age wrong by a few years doesn't really mean i don't know anything about football does it
i very much doubt you could reel off the ages of the spurs squad.

Is it too much to expect that our manager isn't a fackin rookie who hasn't even got his badges yet?

I think it's the fact I've grown up with Spurs through the late 90's, through Anthony Gardner The Ginger Pele Gary Doherty and season after season of no hope abs failures at the last hurdle, I've not experienced success so I'm naturally pessimistic

Benteke looks about 30
-----
but he is nowhere near 30 , therefore surely getting his age wrong by a few years is acceptable.
what is he? 23? 24 max? i said 20…. not exactly a crime
Verts
Team has had 3 managers in under 3 years, it's a facking mess, but I'm quietly happy with what Sherwood has done thus far,
I would take Benteke in the summer for £20m
Benteke and Ade would be one beastly combination
Plus, now if Ade gets injured/loses interest we're really struggling
Pienaar just didn't fit the role he was asked to play. As soon as he got back into that role at Everton he showed how good he was. Very good player, just a shame the way we played and the players we had available, made it difficult for him to fit in
Benteke is the same age as Kanu and Obafemi Martins
24
