ade and benteke are too similar. to be a good partnership you need to be different - suarez and sturrdige, vp and rooney, aguero and negredo, sheringham and klinsmann etc etc

Benteke would be a great partner for either Ade or Soldado...I'm amazed we didn't make a cheeky bid last month

thud, I'm in my late 20s so i am the same age as you mate and I have grown up and seen some awful spurs sides during the 90s aswell but that doesn't mean I should happy with the s hit we have produced this season. Sorry but we have spent 110 mil on players and shouldn't be getting battered 5-0 and 5-1 at home to our rivals in the top 4 we have been battered far to many times this season it's a joke.

Cavani and Ibra look decent together

Benteke started off this season on fire, then got injured, struggled and is now regaining his form.

Would be a great option imo

Anyway, Ade will always pick up injuries/fall out with people so we need a similar player.

Don I agree mate, AVB facked up vs Pool and City, Sherwood too stubborn vs City at home, and we got done over with some awful decisions,

AVB sadly had to go, I did like him , we just never adapted to his ideals

Now Sherwood has to clean up the mess leftover

6th would be a realistic return considering we have only two strikers and Harry Kane

For me not adding to the strikers department will be our downfall

i just wouldn't play them together.

tbh ade and soldado would be a very good partnership if soldado could finish like he could in la liga.

ade runs channels, good hold up play, and then plays it wide. and soldado tucks in the crosses and through balls from eriksen.

im of the opinion good players can play with anyone regardless of styles, just think that's a easy excuse when things go wrong, never did strike partnerships like voller and klinnsmann, bebeto and romario, any harm and there were very similar players, I actually think suarez and sturridge are pretty similar to

Townsend on the left wing makes a huge difference

I want to see Towsnend on the left and Lamela on the right or Lamela just behind Ade. I want to see these 2 players in our 1st 11 because they could be lethal but we are completely wasting Lamela
