Messi and Ronaldo will still be the best in 2 or 3 years time anyway so this article is pointless.

Januzaj has not been taking games by the scruff of the neck.

He scored 2 good goals against Sunderland and since then has been okay.

Deulofeu has arguably been better for Everton.

Gnabry is more closer to Adnan than Adnan is to Ox who is superior to all
.......
Why because he scored a couple of goals against palace

Yes he has. He has been our best player in many games recently. However it isn't his fault he gas the likes of welbeck to finish the chances off he creates.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Fabregas, though.

He's much better than the majority of the players mentioned and plays for Spain and Barca, which is a huge advantage when it comes to the award.

You think Oscar has been better than Pogba, Draxler and Neymar this season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's been better than all of them.
----
He's not but it's only opinion so lets not go back and forth with that as the question was has he been better than them this season? Which I'm sure anyone who isn't trying to prove a point would agree he hasn't.

Rubbish. I have been watching United games lately and all Januzaj does it jinks his way down the side of the pitch and put in the occasional good cross. Adam fecking Johnson has been better this season.

No doubt, Adnan will be a great player, but he won't be WORLD class.

How the feck do you know. The lad is 19 today. How do you know he won't be world class.
Yes he does create a lot of chances for us. In fact he has created I believe the 2nd most chances in our team behind Rooney.
Adam Johnson has been very good for about 6 games. Typical arsenal fans can't see the quality in ANY other players other than there own

Janujaz is made to look good as he the utd team is crap even then, they aren't exactly winning are they? At least when Cesc Fabregas broke into the Arsenal team at 18/19, Arsenal made top 4 and got to CL final with him being the chief playmaker.
.........
Absolutely ridiculous comment to make. Surely it is easier to look good in a good team rather than a team that is playing poorly. The fact that januzaj is actually taking games by the scruff of the neck and our only dangerous player at the age of 18 shows he has some talent.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Taking the game by the scruff of the neck means winning games on their own. Don't thin Januzaj has done that yet other than vs Sunderland was it?

No one is putting down his talent, clearly talented, but he has yet to do anything to suggest he will be a Ballon d'Or winner. Raheem Sterling has had a better season than Januzaj IMO, but he doesn't get half the recognition (good thing that, since English players get hyped to max).

He probably thought wilshere was going to be world class when he was 19

Ox is perhaps the most talented player to come out for England since Wilshere and Rooney. In fact I am sure he's going to be top 5 in world at least!

Does anyone see what's going on here?

You can say Adnan will be better than Ox, but when I suggest otherwise there is problem...

Both will be great. I believe in Arsenal's player and you believe in United's. Shock horror.

And DTKF

Yes he will. Without a doubt.

How will the Ox become world class while warming Arsenal's bench?

Possible future winners:

-Adnan Januzaj
-Thibaut Courtois

------------------------------------------------------------------
TBH, fine a shotstopper as he is goalkeepers very rarely win these individual prizes.
I don't doubt someone is working on a list of goalkeepers who have done as you read this sentence, this long drawn out sentence that could and perhaps should have ended 15 words ago, but the point is goalkeeping is an under-appreciated art and the rewards tend to generally go to the more attacking players.

So the ox will become world class but adnan won't????

Seriously

Like I said before januzaj still has a lot to learn but the lad turns 19 today. You can see the talent he has just by watching him. The composure on the ball the way he attempts to take control of a game when his teammates around him have been truly awful. Yes we may not have won those games but the fact an 18 yr old is doing that shows something. Now that he has the likes of Rooney, RVP and mata all coming back to fitness we may well see much more from adnan rather than him having to feed the likes of welbeck, Hernandez etc.
I certainly couldn't see sterling doing anything like that if he played for a struggling side. Just watching them both you can see adnan has more quality than the likes of sterling and Gnabry

How is Suarez (27) on this list when Messi (26) is assumed to be too old in 2-3 years time? Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking Suarez, just the warped logic of the OP.

Also, Luke Shaw is a rather outlandish claim - absolutely no chance unless he has a Bale-esque change in position and style, and very unlikely even then.

Someday my logic is because Messi has set the bar so high even if he has a very good season but is very below par his usual he will not win the Ballon D'Or. For someone like Suarez though if he had one season where he scored and assisted loads and won trophies with whichever club he was playing with I'd say he'd have a good chance.

If I'm honest I think people will be looking for an excuse for it not to be Messi or Ronaldo. It is getting very repetitive.

If any other player has a season near their level, that player would win. Currently I think only Suarez is capable.

coutinho could be in with a shout, but likely not while he is still with us, he showed he has the ability to play in spain at a young age and i think when he moves back there he could be a major contender in 6 or 7 years time
