That is Manchester United.

Sorry, no. Past tense. That WAS Manchester United.

THIS Manchester United aren't THAT Manchester United. God I hate stuff like this, sentimental nonsense that literally describes a different team to the one we have today. And sorry, if it took us 5-10 years to come back, I'm pretty sure that constitutes 'been out'. There is so much wrong with this article. So much entitlement.

That is what separates us from others, we
are a team to look on to."

Jesus wept we're 7th in the PL needing 2 or 3 players we'll probably get in the Summer (and possibly even a change in manager),we're not in league one ffs

You need about 8 players to achieve what you want.

Maybe Moysie should send Rooney and co off to work with National Rail on summer internships to revive the squad for 14/15?

... That or Uncle Malc will hand him a hundred mill transfer kitty...

Much of our support are total nobchops that expect success as a divine right. They should know their history, which many of them don't seem to.

Macca's right though, we haven't died ffs OP.

Why has this article attracted comments from the never our fault and the bitter with no history crowds?

its because today is 06/02 and the more vile supporters of our erstwhile rivals, liverpool, City and Lids still think that the subject of Munich allows them to vent their bile.

this article is inspired by the crash. Why try and wreck it. If it was about other football tragedies on thier own board Im sure if United fans came on to spoil it admins would have dealt with it. If you dont want to sympathise about 06/02/58 just ignore the tread. Dont insult it

Question is, would he know what to do with it?

Show some respect to each and everyone who died in such a terrible tragedy. Football rivalries just don't enter into this.
As for the team and the players that perished they were loved and watched throughout the land. As the United Calypso goes.. when they're playing in your town get yourself to that football ground, take a lesson you will see, football taught by Matt Bubsy.... It aptly sums up the football spectating public at the time who came out in their droves throughout the land to see the Babes.
RIP !

I find it extremely worrying that there are people out there that revel or celebrate the loss of life, whatever partisan opinions they may hold, the remembrance of those lost in war, illness or tragedy should always be handled with dignity, respect and reverence. I am sorry this is a day late - but RIP The Busby babes.

Hang on.....you lot laugh at us going 9 years without a trophy and in your poem (was that a poem by the way or just format to look like a poem?) you mention 40 years, 25 years without a trophy....

p.s I like to WUM against Man U and Liverpool but will never ever mention the sad times that cost lives......football rivalry is about on the pitch, games lost, cups failed, leagues lost.....or even how the rival fans are but thats where it stops.....anyone who brings up life loss as a WUM is not WUMing and not a true Football fan or even a human being...
