Not too disappointed. We get a nice rest before we take on the gunners.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
with the spúds only three points behind I will be gutted if the game doesn't go ahead especially if they beat the toon. Will pile unncessary pressure on us in a game you would expect us to win.
It does sound like Fulham's reasons are a bit lame.
I just hope if it is rescheduled we get it when they wre already relegated. We could be playing catch up which adds more pressure.

I fancy Newcastle to get a point. Besides Spurs have the Europa headache. If this rest helps us win at the Emirates ill be more than happy.
Spurs will win this game I suspect. Newcastle have a lot of injuries and no goals in the side. Spurs are a bit better away from home and they have a striker in form. I'd be surprised if they got anything less than a win. It's annoying how awful they have been at times and are still only 3 points behind. I'd really like the Fulham game to go ahead.
Don't do what I did once and get off at the wrong stop. Turns out I was heading for Stamford Bridge

this. Spurs have an annoying knack of just picking up points, they were abysmal against Everton but still won with one shot on target all game. Also Newcastle look toothless without Cabaye in the middle. Add this to an equal points tally and they will start to fancy their chances of overhauling us which is not good for us.
Tim shitwood seems to have given up on the expansivefooty and his happy for one nils if yoy heard hos press conference.
I am mega paranoid now. I am convinced that even if the tube strike is cancelled fulham will turn round and say they dont have any stewards to call at short notice.
It'd be a good time to play Fulham as well. They'll be knackered after the Utd match.
The likelihood of the strike being called off are "slim" according the Beeb which means this match is more than likely to be postponed. Absolute bóllocks
Why are people so worried? We avoid two journeys to London in a short space of time. Fulham are bottom of the table for crying out loud. We should be beating them regardless.
Kash do you not enjoy watching us play or something?
If the players can't make two trips to London in a first class train or whatever in a week then I would be seriously concerned: these are professional footballers not pensioners for god sake! And exactly we should be beating them so better to do it on wednesday than on the week of 23rd March as is being proposed
It's only two hours to London on the train.

Well there is no point striking when no disruption is caused is there

or could it be usuing the strike as an excuse because Fulham players are knacked,it makes you think
Don't they fly down these days?
If it was a half decent side I'd be worried but Fulham away is 3 nailed on points this week or next week or week after.
Arsenal on the other hand have a tough home game against United and then have to sandwich us in before Bayern. The rest will do us good.
Why don't we just play it at Anfield if they're that concerned
Expected more understanding from Scousers all said and done when it comes to talking about strikes.
As for Fulham - they're on the back of a great result (especially in the circumstances (last minute goal away at OT), so would imagine they just want to get on and play the next game. All too often I've seen people moan about the International break (for example), saying it's come at a bad time because it disrupts the team's flow (for example, the players feeling confident, only to have that confidence disrupted because of an International result).
There's no conspiracy. Another poster on this thread said it best - it really shouldn't matter when Liverpool play Fulham - the chances are high that you'll win the game regardless (you are better than them after all).

At least it should be re-arranged quickly.
With no Europe for either team there are loads of free dates.
