Khan got trounced by Maidana on the ESPN poll. Khan dont deserve it but it would have been a more intriguing fight than Maidana. Cant blame Mayweather he would have got a lot of abuse if he choose the Khan option.

Floyd has taking several vacations since (away from testing) where he has shown significant growth in physical size.

Hatton was made to step up at weight he was not comfortable with, Maidana is a small welter too, and if Alexander handled him with ease on the inside then Floyd will be comfortable too.

Pressure fighters like Margarito Floyd ducked because he would not have been able to bully.

Judah caused Floyd a lot of problems and Floyd could not counter him. Khan would be quicker and his jab would be very effective against Floyd.

Hatton didn't have to come on heavy he could've done what Floyd does and weigh the same no matter what weight he's in!
