Giles Grimandi is the reason whys theirs global warming.
He needs taken down.
You've spelt Steve Rowley wrong.
is gilles grimandi arsenals biggest problem
--------------------
No. It's the manager who ultimately agrees to sign the players. Next.

Wenger has been a manager for well over 30 years. I doubt he takes the word of his scout without he himself investigating the player.
In fact, i don't think there's a single manager in World Football that would risk buying a player he has no clue about.
so your telling me wenger has a scout just to tell him names? no wenger has a scout to find players, he trusts his opinion and often signs players because of that, that's why we have had weak players over the years

No longer a manager.
BTW, on the same logic, i suppose you would praise the scout and NOT Wenger for the signing of Henry, Vieira, Petit, Ljunberg, Pires, Lauren, Gilberto Silva, Fabregas and Robin Van Persie?
theres no manager in football that takes risks??? what are you on about, wenger signed a crooked French footballer called sanogo that last year wanted to become a postman...is that not a risk?
Amaury Bischoff
"The manager admitted he was "taking a gamble" when he drafted the French-born Portugal Under-21 international into his squad in the summer of 2008, largely because Bischoff was still working his way back to fitness after two groin operations."

Hardly the scouting network's fault that one then.

I agree there's the odd player that a manager might trust on the judgement of a scout. But the OP is dealing with a whole team.
Are you seriously saying that Wenger didn't check over the likes of Almunia, Djourou, Denilson, Squillaci, Andre Santos, Gervinho, Senderos, etc? So how come most of these players played a significant part of a season or two with the Arsenal 1st team? Is that the Scouts fault too?

Maybe something to do with the fact we had limited budget and we had to go for 2nd or 3rd best?!
If a manager makes a mistake with a player, he dumps him quick. Bebe for Fergie, Bischoff and Inamoto for Wenger.
But some of these players have played over 50 games for Arsenal. Was Wenger too slow to figure out these players were not good enough?!
It is easy to blame the Grimster. To an extent he has an excuse of the poor standard of the French league.
But then again he missed Varane and signed Giroud. Makes you wonder.
I just want to know why Gilles Grimandi is getting the blame for Arsenal signing Denilson.
Scouts recommend players but it’s up to the manager /board to say yay or ney. For example, I wouldn’t say Pardew scouted or saw any of the players Newcastle signed. He took the word of his scout. He can’t take any credit for it.

Maybe the OP doesn't realise that Grimandi is the head scout in France and not South America.
Arsene stated last season how p/ssed off he was at us missing out on signing Varane.
Too busy scouting young Swiss CBs.

no im sure wenger played fifa and thought 'oh hes alright' they didn't scout him, but some one at the club decided he would be a good signing
Why would Arsene have had to 'play FIFA' to find out about Silvestre?
