Agree Sterling.
Pellegrini is a good manager, but he doesn't have many trophies in Europe on his CV.
That said, Chelsea can't afford their strikers to keep missing chances. One of them needs to step up and score regularly in the run in.
"Pellegrini is a good manager, but he doesn't have many trophies in Europe on his CV."
To be fair I don't think anyone would expect Malaga or Villarreal to bring in much of a trophy haul.
His only real opportunity to win anything in Europe was one season at Real, they finished with a record points tally and were just unlucky that at that time Barcelona were unbelievable.
City are Pellegrini's opportunity to put some silverware on his CV. Starting on Sunday hopefully...
agree with grated bean about Pellegrini and i think this season he will finally win silverware which he deserves as he is a very good manager
Greenie will look bad to his bosses if their strike force finishes below Chelsea

I just can't see that happening and that is why I think in the end City will be champions.
Should have said our main attacking players(Hazard, Oscar and Willian) are looking increasingly fatigued, having not been rotated accordingly yet.
There is very little chance they will be in the run in, either.
Oscar is most certainly burnt out, that I have no doubt about.
They'll have to put in gutsy performances, purely on adrenaline.
Would like to think Schurrle and Salah will get chances to start in the run in, but I can't see. One is going through the adaptation process and the other is simply out of favour for whatever reason(although he did start against Galatasaray but that was because Oscar had supposedly been injured).
Great article.
It's been a fantastic season so far, and will go down to the wire!
I hadn't quite quite realised how 'light' liverpools fixtures were compared the ours, Chelsea's and City's. That really could be a big factor come May.
From an Arsenal point of view we do have some tough games, the worst being Chelsea away. I really do think Arsene should rest a handful of key players against Bayern, simply put we are not ready this year and a weeks break at that point of the season can be a god send to a tired squad. I think we'll go through against Everton in the FA Cup, meeting City in the final.
If we come through March within a few points of top spot, i will really start to believe we can do it, as already pointed out, our run in is by far the best looking on paper, and i believe the other top four teams are involved in big games, either playing each other or teams not far off the mix.
It really can go anyway, but at the start of the season i said Chelsea will win it under Mourinho, and i stand by that...for now
I said at the start of the season that Chelsea will win it and I stand by that. The Everton result was telling.
Liverpool? Who knows as this is unchartered territory in many ways. We would need to beat Chelsea and City at home, plus Spurs and I feel our away fixtures are very tricky. The game against Southampton will be a barometer as to how far we have come.
We are playing without fear though and there is clearly a confidence that we can score at any point.
We are certainly attacking without fear.
There is a bit of fear in our defending though, and that needs to change if we are to spring a major surprise.
City have still to go to Anfield Goodison Emirates and Old Trafford
I would be surprised if we don't drop at least 5 points from those games
We have a very poor record in Liverpool at either ground and barring last years win against 10 men for the majority of the game our record at arsenal is shocking.
It really is a sign of the times when Utd away is the easiest fixture of the 4

I think the playing without fear element is interesting actually. I'd change it up slightly and say we're playing without the weight of expectation.
Most people would put Liverpool as 4th favourites for the title and that could play into our hands a little, at least until it becomes a real possibility in the players heads.
I don't think you can underestimate experience at this stage of the season. Chelsea have got several players who have experience of winning the EPL & CL. City have players who have won the EPL in the most dramatic of circumstance. Liverpool and Arsenal have Gerrard and Ozil.
From a Liverpool point of view however it feels great to be part of these discussions! Most wanted a genuine challenge for 4th place, the fact we're being discussed as a possibility for the league as we enter March is way beyond the expectations of most.
