he looks like an amateur at times. literally, like a non league player.

I don't know where that stoke came came from, because it's not the same player who's played all the other games.

if you get the chance to watch our defeat to west ham this season, watch paulinho. he was absolutely dismal.

I agree he was outstanding against stoke, but ive seen much more west ham than I have stoke.

paulinho is either totally burnt out (understandable as he has barely had a break in about 2 and a half years), or he is shiiiit, or he is just coasting with the sole purpose of avoiding injury ahead of the world cup

Lets give the guy a chance ffs. He is a regular player and captain for brazil, he has been poor at times yes but you can clearly see he is a talent.

Next season is the season to judge him.

I don't see how it's burn out, or getting used to the league though.

it's not just about hiding, it's about 1st touch, options, completing simple passes. at times it's terrible.

in the first half of the season he at least had a brilliant engine, but I still thought he was 5h1t. now he seems to have lost that as well.

He has a knack for scoring goals from midfield though, which is hard to come by at times.

Through the years we've always had an almost solid goalscorer

Jeans, Poyet. Niko, Luka. We need a 10+ midfield PL goalscorer (Lampard, Gerrard esq)

Luka a solid goalscorer?

I fart harder than his shots.

sorry thudd, but to mention him in the same breath as lampard or gerrard is just a joke based on what I've seen.

tbh, it's an insult to niko.

Ok we get it JPB, you don't rate him.

Certain aspects of his game remind me a lot of lampard.

Tbh if he took our fk's and pens he would already of had a 'lampard-esque' goalscoring season.

just about all paulinho's goals are in or around the 6 yard box.

lampard can score from anywhere.

and as for all round play......come on ffs...
