In my squad Wilshere would be lucky getting on the plane... Been terrible now for a few years and is made of glass.
He's just lucky for have a real lack of options in that area.
Tell you what looking at our squad is really depressing... We ain't gona do anything
Ox has been out with a knee injury and is now a starter for us. That goal against Brazil shows what he can do. He can create magic with both feet. He will bench Cazorla next season. Our most talented player at Arsenal and England is the Ox.

He's another England player who was massively overhyped at a young age and the media have convinced themselves he is class. Happens all the time. Then they can batter him when he doesn't perform at a world cup.

Wilshere is going to make you eat your words just like Ramsey did.

Always like Ramsey and if I remember correctly it was the arsenal fans that used to boo him

I'm not having a go at Wilshere because he is an Arsenal player.
They went way over the top with Townsend. And currently they are building up Sterling.
Liked to add this is as an England fan, no club rivalry at all
Townsend is average and Sterling has been quality the last few months. Always was a great prospect and talent that is starting to realise his potential.
Townsend has potential but has been believing the hype he got.
Needs some time out I think and get back to playing better for spurs.
Sterling looks great ATM

That's the point i'm trying to make. Townsend plays twice for the national team and the media make out he's going to take Brazil by storm. He's not. Sterling is playing well at the moment but they are making out he tore the Danish team apart last night.
It's the way things are. They created the idea that Wilshere was world class and gloss over his bad form. Then he'll get criticised when at the World Cup he doesn't play well against better players. Hamann got a lot of abuse a few months ago when he pointed out Wilshere's form was poor, but most Arsenal fans would probably agree with him at the moment.
Lampard shouldn't be near that plane.
If he is good enough to play regular games for Chelsea then he is good enough for England.

Ox is not better than Llalana or sterling
-----------------
FFS
your first choice defence (barring Terry who has had avery good season IMO)..is rediculous!
also Wilshire wont be fit...and he is shiite
Terry should never be considered for England on a matter of general principal.
-------------------------Hart-------------------
Johnson----Jagielka---Cahill---Baines
------------Gerrard-----Henderson---------
Sterling------------Lallana----------Rooney
----------------------Sturridge----------------
I actually like Clyne as a player, I think he does have the potential. However, he should not be in this WC squad. One for the future if he develops at a decent rate.
I agree on Clyne but think its rediculous to suggest that he would start in a WC as the OP does.
Aquaman I agree on that team but would switch Rooney and Lallana
I know Rooney would like to play more central, and in reality Rooney will get either the CF position or centrally behind the striker. However, Lallana is a very classy player and I think the team would benefit as a whole with him in the 'Kaka' role... If this system was applied then you could see Rooney, Lallana and Sterling rotating behind Sturridge to make it a fluidic formation. Well we would if we didn't have Hodgson as manager.
