That would be great for the atmosphere if we are lucky enough to make it through to play you.

Its funny though as the last cup tie at Ibrox saw you bring perhaps 1000....

Fans turn out for big game shocker.

You should phone the papers about that. Front page news.

To be fair, it'll actually be my first time to Ibrox for years. I became sick of the over the top stewarding at both Ibrox and Celtic Park so just stopped going. The final straw was a game where I went with a group of 7 or 8 people and only about 2 of us were left in the ground at the end because the rest had been chucked out for standing up and singing

Dandies sold out 40,000, they must be better supported.

Hector

They are better supported. I'm ok with that.

it was a big game the last time

dont get me wrong we only had about 16000 at that game but I expect 30000 for this will be no problem

so our 30k + your 20k means a full house...

Duke, I admire that you'll throw your weight behind your conquerors Albion Rovers for the rest of the tournament.

And to be fair, the last time you visited Tannadice you only had a couple of hundred supporters.

It'll be 20k each with the rest for corporate fuds.

So pragmatic Ivan.

Accepting that your fans are glory hunters and that they're fewer in number than your nearest and dearest.

Respect.

There will be a lot of breakin"s in Dundee that day

Hec, our nearest and dearest are the wee team across the road.

We're a two club city that has a population of just under 150k, while Aberdeen is the only club in a city of just under 200k. Plus the surrounding area of Aberdeenshire is more populous than the areas around Dundee.

BN, if we are to receive 20k tickets, which stands would we likely get? I'm not sure the capacity of each stand at Ibrox.

if it is Albion in the match you wont bring 10000

You think there is anything worth stealing?

I'm not sure Duke. I know a lot of buses are filling up already and in the semi final against Raith in 2010 we took over 10k to Hampden. I'm pretty confident we'd even match that even if it is Albion Rovers.

you would probably get.

7500 behind the goal
10500 in the Govan

that might be it though

Ivan

I stand corrected.

I don't see the blue menace as a credible rival.

I'd hazard a guess at Broomland Stand and The Govan stand, minus bar 72, which I don't see being open.

I'd imagine we'd get the Copland and Main Stand Minus Club Deck, which roughly covers 20k

Duke, BN

I suspect they'll give us the 10,500 stand first and see how the sales go and reserve the 7,500 stand for when those have gone. If we don't sell the 10,500 (which we will) then you'll get that stand. I can't see that happening though.

Mag Haney? Was she not from the Raploch in Stirling?
