Facty I was applauding Lala for sure but compared to most Pak player's he is very wealthy due to his commercial appeal around the world. He simply expressed a desire to spend Ramadan and Eid with his family. Ramadan is basically the whole off July which is when the tournament takes place.

Kash - yes have read it, I do admit SA are going to be a massive challenge. I still cnat see them beating us though. We have been outstanding in this tournament, so far, sweeping aside all those before us.

I do think the winners of todays game will go on and lift the World cup.

Regarding Dhoni's knack of winning the toss I do doubt a one sided coin as there was a period a while back where he wasn't winning any. I guess the luck of the flip has been on his side this tournament but having said that he did lose it against the Aussies.

For the matchup today I do make India favourites but as seen already T20 can be a lottery - nobody expected the Dutch to beat England but they did. Again it will a match up of spin which India have used superbly to tie up opposition batsman but Amla and De Villiers are no mugs playing the turning ball.

The Indian inside of me obviously wants to see India win the tournament but the neutral wants Sri Lanka to win it. Sangakarra and Mahela have been terrific servants of Sri Lankan cricket and deserve to bow ouy with a bang.

Alot of the main SA chokers no longer play like Kallis, Smith and Boucher. This is a new side with the majority already having played numerous IPL seasons. If there is rain forcasted then both sides might look to chase.

Just had a random thought, Imagine if Lance Klusener was playing T20 games...would have been fantastic to watch him.
