Just scored a good goal. We need to remember that he's playing in a poor Spurs side.
He looks good in Europa but so did Clowning. What has he been like in the PL. Hasn't really had many headlines.
good player, could be a big player for them next year, has been inconsistent so far though
Been excellent for us this season both on and off the ball but not the sort of player that can change a game by himself

True but he was £12m.. For a player to change a match by himself you need to shell out around £42m..
Decent player, but not mobile enough for the reds, we like yo strike feR into the opposition with pace, ge okie too many touches
Honestly, hes ok. Very good at dead balls, but so was charlie adam!! I look at coutinho, mata, eriksen, ozil and think hes offers the least as an attacking force.
Just my opinion, and I can see why we didnt go after him.
Ajax were touting him round Europe for about three seasons with no takers. What does that tell you?
You could say a typical spurs player, flatters to deceive. Paulinho, soldado, lamela...spurs have a few.
He can take a good set piece and arrives in the box well but he concedes possession very easily and I don't think he is as good as his hype.
Not sure where he would have fit with us.
We need a goalscoring midfielder but one who is more dynamic than Eriksen.
Tbh....mata looks a tad slow, eriksen is just ok, ozil looks knackered and soft, coutinho is a bit inconsistent. If I was putting them in order of preference based on this season, i would go:
1...Coutinho
2...Ozil
3...Eriksen
4...Mata (hasnt played too much)
Would a win for us and Spurs lose on Sunday be the end of their top 4 chase?
Big ifs but possible, personally still worried, the earlier we qualify the better
Hasn't he had a few injury issues this season? He has looked good every time I've seen him play though. I do think that maybe Molby was right when he said he wasn't quite ready for Liverpool. Maybe next summer when he has had another season in the PL.
The mismanagement of Spurs has been an almighty lash up. They sell their onlty world class player then blow £110 million pounds on players they didn't really need signed by backroom boys rather than the manager in some cases.
Levy then sacks his new appointment and installs a total novice who is completely out of his depth as a replacement.
Now they have Arsenal to play next.....
It never rains for poor old Spurs

That his agent is a greedy b4stard. Cause he is a fine player.

That was us a while back.
Indeed, how times change eh?
I agree, for all spurs troubles they are just in the hunt for the top 4, I say just because they have very hard away games to come.

I Sherwood not like to be a Spurs fan now.
Would have given us something we don't really have at the moment, 10 plus goals from the midfield area.

Don't see what he would have offered that you don't have. Coutinho and Henderson are young enough to eventually add goals to their game. And Eriksen's creatvity is no better than Coutinho's. I actually prefer Coutinho cos he plays at a higher intensity.
Point is I think most of eriksens goals have come from dead balls, we have suarez, gerrard taking ours somhe wouldnt get as many goals, plus he hasnt got the guile of coutinho.
