I'd be happy to see him behind the departure gate at heathrow

I just don't rate him

did you think he was rubbish yesterday hounslows? I was honestly pretty impressed with his overall play.

He's a meh player barely does anything... Trouble is we have many of these players

starting to sense I may be in the minority...

I agree OP. I think for £7m he's a good bit of business. Never going to be a world beater, but a good squad player.

I would have him above Lennon, Townsend and Siggy in the pecking order

I think he's best out wide, use Eriksen as a number 10.

He'd be much better if he knew how to finish. He gets into lots of good positions but is ever so wasteful.

Like many of our players, if he is here next season we may see a different player after a year adapting to the PL, he has shown glimpses of a good player.

i think he has potential. Let's not forget his chances have been far and few between since signing, and in not ideal circumstances

He has the physique for the PL which is more than you could say for Lamela. I said a while ago that i think he has accustomed best to the PL from the new crop of players and i think we saw a decent performance from him each time he has was given the nod in his last few appearances

He actually isnt too bad. Defo better than townsend and lennon who always seems to start. Chadli is actually able to beat his man and put in an intelligent ball, rather than just chucking it in which townsend does or passing back to the full back which lennon does

Looks average to me. We'll see next season if he can prove me wrong, but doesn't look dangerous enough to me.

posted on 17/3/14

Yeah I think with some more time we may see better from him, I just think the last couple times I've seen him there's been glimpses that suggest he could become a pretty important player for us.

I don't want him behind the striker simply because I think Eriksen is the superior no.10.

I don't really want him on the wing because I prefer wingers who have pace. I used to love watching Bale and Lennon terrorising opposing teams full backs.

He's a good player, but like Siggy I just don't think he fits our team.

He just doesn't convince me at the moment. Doesn't look like a winger or one of those nasri/hazard-type players who drift in from the wing and roam about for space to cause damage.

He looked more involved yesterday than in other games but I just don't rate him tbh.

Not to say I'm right and you're wrong as he may well come good

I like Chadli... He has a bright future at the club, if he puts he's head down and works.

Bale's... I take it you're not a fan

I think there's a really good player waiting to break out in Chadli

Chadders is alright I guess.. bit of a vanilla player but he offers something different, seems genuinely capable of cutting in on his wrong foot to good effect.

Was just the "put your head down and works" bit

He is a technical intelligent player not your typical out and out sprinter lennon/Townsend no end product types...
My God!! its taken so long for you lot to realise potentially we have a good player on our hands. All he needs is a decent run in the side. You cant expect someone to come in "cold" and perform each time.

I tell you what I expect a potentially good player to be able to score from 6 yards tho. Facking blast it at in at the two defenders instead of putting it in the corner

Chadli is good.

but yet again spurs supporters are on a guys back without giving him a chance.

Have had to stand up for him so many times on here.

we paid 7 mill for him. he was a good signing for that price.

people expect him to be a ready made bale replacement for 7mill

some spurs fans need to get real.

chadli is one of about 3 players at the club with the technical ability to actually play in a decent ball.

he is strong and technically sound. decent reading of the game and I quite like him.

he is a massive scapegoat at spurs.
