im not that surprised tbh, im a little surprised as to how bad its been, but i didnt expect things under Moyes to be very good
Not surprised, disappointed. I paid as much attention to Moyes beforehand as any mid-table manager like Pardew or Allardyce.
The funniest thing is though that up until recently he's been widely acknowledged as the best British manager around after SAF of course.
Doesn't say a great deal about the standard of coaches we're producing does it?
I think Rodgers is definitely the best British Coach around right now. After him, there's not a great array of top british managers left.
Gordon Strachan is actually quite a decent manager. Would like to see Steve Bruce get a step up to someone like Spurs or Everton. Not a bad record for the clubs he has been at.
After 11 years in charge of Everton, most supporters became kind of brainwashed in what Moyes said in interviews.
It's only since Martinez has come in with his totally different type of approach looking for positives in everything do you then realise how negative Moyes really is/was
I thought we'd more like Arsenal under George Graham, solid in defence, very difficult to beat but ultimately had enough quality to do well.
I know a lot has been made about of the lack of quality in the squad but we should at least be fourth IMO. Moyes is making the job look much much harder than it is.
Is that a poem? How came you have wrote it with a long sentence, a short sentence and then a long sentence?
In answer to your question, I thought people could develop to a higher level with better tools. I was wrong in Moyes' case. However, I did want Jose. Proven CL winner. Moyes hadn't even managed a CL proper tie.
Now now an Everton fan telling us the truth about Moyes, we can't have that, he will come good
