Wow grandspurs it seems like you have some fans on this forum but to be honest all you do is be rude to people that have a different opinion to yourself.

You know the moment that made me realise how appallingly terrible Tim was? (I had given him a chance initially hoping he might adapt/progress)
It was vs Arsenal when we were already 1 down in the opening few minutes (again) and Ox had the ball on the halfway line, and beat Bentaleb with quick feet. Which created a 1on1 vs Lloris after that. 40 seconds in on this video:

The worst defensive set-up I have ever seen in the PL.

For me it was when I saw him play about 20 years ago

On a serious note you can normally tell from watching somebody play whether or not they will make good managers.
Players who play with intelligence, Dalgleish, Hoddle etc were always going to be reasonable managers.
Technically as a player Sherwood was awful. He dwelt on the ball got caught in possesion so often in dangerous situations I personally was totally surprised when he even entered the coaching side of the game.
Still time moves on now I am surprised and downhearted that he did

To be fair to Tim he's been thrown right in at the deep end by Levy, fair play to stand up and take the job when you're massively under qualified and under experienced. Reminds me of Stuart Pearce, all passion no idea
you wouldn't imagine he could string a decent sentence together, which he does when he's a pundit
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Does he???? I must have missed that

He never had to take the job did he? If somebody offered you a job as a brain surgeon tomorrow would you accept?
If you say yes I am avoiding the NHS from now on

Why do we expect anything less from Spurs?
We buy clever - Sell for massive profit
Sack a manager every 2/3 years
Spend sensibly
Never take risks
We're fickle
We expect too much
We've won 2 league cups in 20 years
We're 5th - 7th material
Grand of course you'd take it. You'd be a fool not too
thudd you would do a good job as a full time batty crease
you have all the necessary qualifications
Grand of course you'd take it. You'd be a fool not too
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well if I did I would not expect anybody to feel sorry for me as I obtained money under false pretences
Full time batty crease
I wouldn't want grands
I wouldn't want grands
---------------------------------------------------
Dont lie yes you would
Tim's gonna walk away from this with two things
1- a tarnished reputation
2- a pocket full of cash
Wonder what he's worried about more

I have seen hoddle quite a bit recently and something that sticks in my mind is how futuristic he is. He is aware of the next in fashion formation 5 years before it happens.
His problem is he is too clever for footballers he expects it to be taken onboard straight away but has not got the personality to get that across. In comparison mourinho has the personality to get intense tactics across to the players and they adapt.
I dont think sherwood has the ability or desire to be a head coach. I feel sorry for him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree he doesn't have the ability but he's got the Spurs job - he made it clear he wanted it and wasn't going to be a caretaker. He's getting his 1m payoff whatever and will probably be set up somewhere with a few of our youth players going to play the Sherwood way.
Cry me a river ffs.
