You can have Arteta

Arteta is a better version of Cleverly. Take him for free.

We've got enough average squad players as it is, thanks though.

What does he mean? He had one year left on his contract. So he was always secured for next year. Does he mean that Bayern will hold him to his contract and will not let him leave in summer?

We were never going to get him anyway.

it means he's agreed a new contract with the club

Kroos coming to Old Trafford was a pipe dream.

We don't need Kroos. Truth be told he wasn't exactly the type of midfielder we were crying out for.

Carvalho or Vidal would be far more useful.

This all depends on the context

I heard Jay Spearing is looking for a new club...

posted on 31/3/14

Although I think we stand pretty much no chance of signing him, things haven't really changed.

He may well still leave because he still hasn't actually signed or agreed a new contract yet.

He's just saying Kroos will definitely be at Bayern next season.

We need both types realistically.

One of our major weaknesses is mvoing the ball from midfield into the attacking 3rd. Carvalho's role is to shield the defence, win the ball and distribute. A player in the mould of Kroos who works further forward is just as important if not more so.

Moyes said all the people he has spoken to are very keen to join United, Kroos obviously not one of them, who could he mean?
Demichelis?

I agree with TRS. I'm 100% sure we will not sign him. Kroos' is contracted up to end of next season. So he is just saying he will not leave this summer.

posted on 31/3/14

If what Moyes is saying is true but we don't end up getting these players then that would suggest we aren't willing to pay the fees demanded.

If that were to happen I'd be extremely disappointed, we've put ourselves in this stupid position of being desperate for players and if we are unwilling to pay the going rate then what the f-ck do we expect to happen.

Where does he say new contract is agreed? You are like a ja606 version of indykaila

We'll probably spend £37m on a player who's played 22 games in Portuguese first division and who only has 2 Int caps.

The way our club handles transfers on the whole is amateur and has been for years.

Is that all he's said?

The Telegraph reported over the weekend United won't pay the 37m release clause for Carvalho, too expensive.

Coleman, Distin, Jags, Mirallas, Naismith, Howard

all on Moyes's wishlist

It's not that straight forward. Yes is sounds like a lot but our scouts and the scouts of other clubs must feels he's worth it for a reason. It is a slight risk I agree but it is one that really could turn out to be worth it for years to come.

If you're good enough then surely the number of games you've played is irrelevant.

Coleman, Shaw, gundogan and another CM

of course it was dream. you think Toni Kroos will come to Manchester United with our current management. They will have him lumping balls in no time.
