Stan:

You have to remember who was advising Fridgy at the time - Billy Bottler's cousin. Now if you want to put your faith in the 'advice' of a banned lawyer, good luck, chap.

Not putting my faith in anything, least of all anything to do with Price. Just offering an opinion as to what may be happening. Perhaps all the sponsors in Kuwait really love us and are going to bankroll us for the next 20 years.

Looks like Darlow will be gone before next season for silly money if the reports are true that Spurs offered 4 mil. in Jan.

darlow recently signed a new contract didn't he? So if Spurts want him then they'll have to pay a lot more than £4M, and if Chelsea are after him too then maybe they'd be prepared to pay a silly amount, as is their style.

Has Darlow still got a bad back?

4m for Darlow would be good value. Snap their hands off.

We can get far more than £4 million SHH, but I'd rather keep him, a good keeper is rarer than you'd think.

posted on 2/4/14

He probably couldn't do much for any off the five goals.

Just think if derby had of cashed in on bryson last summer they would have got, what ? 2m?

By keeping him, showing support and aid his develop they seen him bang a hatrick v us and now must be worth more than double..... why would we want the same for our talented young players ?

I seriously doubt we would get more than £4m for Darlow. How many players in the Championship have gone for that sort of amount before? I can think of one or two players. That would be good money and I expect we'd take it.

Why do we need to cash in, we are not exactly in need for money. In the long run it would be far more valuable to keep hold of him and I would hope Darlow would think he would get a better chance as 1st team goalie at Forest hopefully in the PL in the near future then 2nd goalie at Chelsea where he will probably hardly come on for them except for the odd cup game.

Also I am really quite happy about Pearce becoming the new manager now

Keepers have a longer career in general compared to outfield players. I wouldn't be in any rush to leave Forest whilst still number one if I was Darlow.

If we need to sell for ffp, he's our best bet. He's good. He's not great.

Lets face it anyone who let's in 5 against the Rams and the last time being 1898 should not only be sold but Pearce should be chewing his balls as he walks out with his tail between his legs.

That will give the rest of the team a lift for sure.

Bit of a dumb way of looking at it unless you are saying that your team were garbage and your attempts on goal were actually poor shots that should have been saved. Even the best goalkeepers in the world let a few past them in the odd game.

Five is not a few.

Five is pretty much the definition of a few

Why has Pearse not taken the job immediately?

Thought he had bottle.

posted on 3/4/14

Afraid he might have to face the Rams again, big feckless chicken.

I agree Igor. The FA have removed his spine. You would think that as he loves the club so much he would have joined immediately giving them that boost they need.

But hey-ho. Each to their own eh.

Don't worry, Pearce will be owning you next season.

Well we are debt free Will so it's possible.
