Who do you want to go up?

Welcome fosse. Well I take your points on Burnley and the Sheep. I would also go with Forest should they make a late surge for the play offs as I think Pearce would be hopeless in the prem.

It's going to be tough for us next season, can't quite imagine Morgan up against Aguero and Negredo!

Leicester, Burnley and Ipswich

.... although I think it might be Leicester, Burnley and Derby.

Burnely - like you say I can't see them being too much of a threat and will be likely to go down

Derby - Be good to have another team in the premier league close by although I think Derby won't be too bad, They've got a proven Premier league manager at least

QPR - I could cope with them. But can't be doing with Harry Redknapp on Match of the Day

Wigan - No, They'll be decent

Reading and Ipswich - 2 teams I'd be quite happy if we never played again

Forest - The prem is hopefuly getting rid of 1 circus in Cardiff, they'll still have Hull so don't need another. Bad for the game

Like Joby, given the choice I'd have Leicester, Burnley then Ipswich, although I can't really see them making the playoffs. I'm not keen on Forest or Derby going up simply because I want to see how East Midlands Today would handle it if we were in the Premiership and they weren't next year.
Burnley certainly though, not only do they deserve it for what they've done this year, but it's a real, genuine football club that's representing the town, as seen by the posters up around the place.

Incidentally, whether a team is rated as a serious contender or not next year is not a concern to me. Just like this year, we can only concentrate on ourselves, and you never know what'll happen next year to either make a club survive or send a club spirallin toward relegation. Just look at Palace and Fulham, for instance.

With respect to Hull, what do you mean?

If we are the only east midlands club in the prem next season, then we will have to suffer the constant attention of the lovely Natalie Jackson !! for that reason i hope Derby go up as well so we dont have her all to ourselves.
Does anyone else find her totally annoying??

downsouf, he's probably referring to the attempt by the owner to rename them "Hull City Tigers", threats that he'll leave if the fans don't back and statements that they can die as far as he's concerned. Frankly, I'm not keen on seeing an owner like that getting success either.

As for Natalie Jackson, am I the only one who finds her really quite sexy in a way that defies description?

Seriously? Just me?

I thought that was what Foxy might be referring to Dung. As a team they're performing fairly well but need to beat Swansea on Saturday as the trap door is looming over the horizon. Assem Allam's antics have yet to reach those of Vincent Tan's proportions but he appears adamant in driving them through. The 'bad news' at the KC has been buried by the imminent FA Cup locking

...of horns with the Blades.

It must be Natalie's boots that bother you.

I don't know. Maybe it's the hair. Plus she looks a bit like a dolphin, and who doesn't like dolphins?

Nat Jackson probably still sloshes when she walks from all the Billy Juice she's guzzled in the past 14 months. She's more pear-shaped than Forest's play-off campaign and looks like Rebecca Adlington in a hall of mirrors, plus is ginger. She has the perfect face for radio but her whiney voice wouldn't even work in that medium either.

Verdict: not even with Blackstarr's.

I think if any single statement turns me off her, it's this.

I dont want Derby or Forest up.

Burnley deserve to go up and have the added appeal of probably being a team we can finish above next season.

I like Big Mick so will be happy with Ipswich. I dont think we should fear Wigan so again happy enough with them.

Dont want QPR up. Redknapp is hideous.

Yes I was referring to the Hull Tigers debacle. Threatening fans with a potential 50% season ticket price increase if the name is rejected is quite despicable too.

I can see why Pearson was happy to ditch Hull and come back here

I think that's why I favour Ipswich above the others.

Nat Jackson - Irrespective of her looks her sport "reporting" is dull, emotionless and uninteresting. Her sycophantic wimpering around Billy Davies is also not very endearing.

I'm not sure how you could fancy her really? I mean she's no Louise Minchin is she?

TOTF - I didn't know about the 50% ticket price increase threat. That just increases my dislike of the man and is yet another reason to be thankful that we've fluked the owners that we have.

Joby, What can I say? Although I know she's not what you might call a "conventional" beauty, are we not all but mere slaves to biology?

Not very likely, but a late rally by Brighton and a flukey play-off victory would ensure a nice weekend at the seaside, plus 6 points.
As for Natalie, I've seen her many times on TV, outside the KP and in the Victoria Centre (Nott'm) and I don't think I've ever seen her smile. My tip for her would be- when on EMT try not to turn sideways, either that or go down the Rebecca Adlington route.
