When the team plays well it is not because of Giroud, it is in spite of Giroud. He offers nothing but silly little flicks which come off very rarely.

And what you seem to miss is that no pace in the side means that Everton have license to press with multiple players on Giroud every time the ball comes into him, as there is no threat in behind.

ppl here have been having a go at Theo for years. So many times its about him not impacting the game. And now the only problem is Theo missing?

Rubbish. The striker has to win something for the players to run onto the secondary ball. Strikers have to have superb touch or at least aerially dangerous. If the striker is getting dominated by the center half it doesn't matter where he is standing. He has to win the ball where ever he is standing. Thats why they cost so much money!

Not even God can save Giroud.
