Current Squad - New Manager?

IMO it is somewhat pointless comparing achievements/position in different countries as there are too many variables that cannot be considered when making any evaluation.

What may be prevalent however is other than sentimentality what other rationale can fans use for AW to remain as manager?

Erm. Diaby will be like a new signing?

Many against a change seems to be going with "how do you know it will be better with someone else?"

Which is simply fear mongering.

Dortmund are behind the worlds current strongest team though. We're lagging behind Liverpool for goodness sake.

Unfortunately for Dortmund they're getting their brightest stars nicked by that very team which mentally harmed the club for a while. Klopp still has an awful lot of promise and just like Rodgers & Martinez he's young so can still afford the odd off season just like those other 2 have had but what's important is the existent direction and philosophy possessed my these coach's who are well adept to modern day management.

Someone as old as Wenger shouldn't be repeating mistakes the way he does but he does and is getting out-thought by every decent coach out there. Klopp is the answer for us, if you disagree with Klopp as a suggestion fair enough but if you're convinced Wenger is the right man then you really need your head testing, he's like a liability that you're always willing to give 1 more chance to but no matter what will let you down.

Wenger must get top 4 and the cup and still leave for me that's the only way he can leave gracefully

And as I explained, they don't have far less resources. and they didn't suffer badly with injuries last season. Dortmund are a rich club with great players, they're not some small time team.

Last season, when they reached the CL final? I didn't say they had an injury ridden season.

Dortmund have around half the wage bill of Arsenal, that to me is far less resources.

I never said they were small time.

Klopp is far superior to Wenger, ask any neutral and you'd have your answer.

This is Klopp's first mediocre season whereas Wenger hasn't challenged for the title for 9 years now. Anyway It's not only about trophies- watch the on field performance of both clubs and you'd see the difference between the 2 managers. Would a Klopp side get hammered like we have this season against the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton and City?

Dortmund are a really well run club, probably my favourite team after Arsenal and I like Klopp a lot so I'm not knocking them. if our fans were Dortmund fans they would be slating him just like they do with Wenger for finishing miles behind Bayern.

People slate Wenger because there's so clearly room for improvement.

The same mistakes being made over and over again in more than one area of his management of the team on and off the field.

He either can't recognise these problems or refuses to do anything about it. Can't decide which is more concerning.

I am sure no Arsenal fan was calling for Wenger's head 6,7 years ago.

Really. I said the day he made Henry captain in 2006, that he should have gone then. For me it was a real sign of weakness, giving into to Henry to make him stay, plus Henry was a poor captain, who spent mist of the year berating the kids in his team and mucking about with his contract.
