meaning they have bid something like 27mil plus Drogba and Benayoun, we have accepted.............this is the rumours on the train ( as i say Rumours!!! )
I tell you what i would do, Offer Modric to Real Madrid in a straight swap deal for Kaka and Diarra
Morning Don - Levy has put himself in a position where he simply cant sell Modric, he has been SO adamant about his stance over Modric that it just cant happen, he will lose all respect people have for him and it wouldn't surprise me if he stepped down
I remember the Berbatov situation and the Modric situation is completely different, too much has been said to us fans for any sale to go through
Have faith Don
Don's a WUM
Why did you have to ruin my day, I've been getting all excited about us finally getting around to playing football again. 1
We don't seem to be able to bring in one player without a prolonged effort, sell modders and bring in 4 more. What year are we one about by the time it takes to do one deal. keep modders and add others with the money we must have piled away.
From a Harry interview a while back
......Harry what do you think of the Spurs fans
Harry...They are brilliant always give us their full support
............Some of them are saying that you had a dreadful season cos you missed out on CL and getting to the last 8 means nothing
Harry well they have to be idiots
Next days headlines ....."Redknapp says Spurs fans are idiots "
THATS WHY YOU CANNOT TAKE QUOTES OUT OF CONTEXT
RRP, don't you think it's a bit strange Modric not playing tonight? Now before anyone says we are only playing our weak team well it's not true for tonight as Redknapp has confirmed he will play a strong team ( bar our injuries) but i just get this feeling we don't want to cup tie Modric for the CL so all will go ok with chelsea That's my gut feeling to be honest but RRP i will try and have some faith mate
Don
We'll know if he plays monday
If Modric is not for sale Harry should just say that. It is now clear from Redknapp's comments that Modric is for sale at the right price, probably, £35million.
Don - I honestly believe Modric is injured, its as simple as that really ...but of course under the circumstances it looks like we are leaving him out, but i dont believe that!
I would be devastated if we sell him after everything thats been said, but i just cant see it, not yet anyway
1......He may actually injured
2......Harry may not want to risk hm considering we have United in 3 days
3......He may have refused to play
Got to say if he goes now we are a total laughing stock.....and they've put us in the same kind of position as they did with Berbatoss......as whoever we get to replace him - if anyone - won't be half as good.
Diamond Lights
It's not down to Harry , I see you haven't said whether you saw the interviews or just believed the Mail
agreed with we will be a laughing stock if Modric goes chelsea, I expect Bale and the likes of VDV to follow next summer aswell if this happens
You demand why we haven't given up the Modric pursuit-well I think with 'Arry's latest comments you have your answer
By his own admission Luka wants out and 'Arry keeps encouraging bids
Yet Spurs insist he wants to stay. Small club mentality
Click just fack off
Thats all i have to say to you, pathetic little

Just sell him. What's the point keeping a player who doesn't want to be there? You will get £30M+ for him which IMO I don't think he is worth and you can spend it on Ade, Diarra, Parker, etc. No point keeping a player who isn't committed just to prove a point, you will only look stupid at the end of it.
Spurs only sell superior players to big club.
Big clubs can afford the Levy tax.
Man Utd = big club. Therefore Carrick + Berba = go.
Chelsky = small club. Therefore Luka = no go.
Batmanu
And spending £30 million on Diarra, Adebayor and Parker won't make them look stupid
No thanks, you can shove your £30 million and we will keep Modric...these are the facts
Is Redknapp's brain full of sh-!t???
---------------------------------------------------
In a word 'Yes'. Whatever you think of the situation, Levy has been brave enough to stand up and go, 'F off West London chavs. You ain't having him.' I think a lot of fans of all Clubs would love to have a Chaiman prepared to do that. And Harry's comments this morning just undermine that.....
....... Unless, of course, Harry is trying to show the other players that they're just as valuable and Spurs won't live or die depending on whether Modders leaves or not. Personally, I don't think he will. But if I was Levy, I'd want a quiet word in Harry's shell about just what he's trying to do.
Sorry to go against you squid on this one but there is no justification for Harry saying any more than "he is not for sale". It doesn't matter what the question is.
And even if we are going to sell him Harry talking about it doesn't help Levy's negotiating position.
Harry was phoning TalkSport up from the team bus going to Hearts yesterday. That says it all. Would Wenger/Fergie/Dalglish etc do that? No. Harry needs to learn to lie a little - or - learn to keep it shut!
Lets see how he likes the sound of his own voice when answering questions like:
"Have you done any paid work in the last 2 weeks?"
