as a Leeds fan of many years it's very hard to trust anyone particularly in the last 10 or so years
yes
but I'm not expecting him to throw shed loads of money on the playing squad. And I expect we will see a lot of managers come and go.
No, but 100000% more than any other owner we have had
"but I'm not expecting him to throw shed loads of money on the playing squad. And I expect we will see a lot of managers come and go."
That's my one worry. Just hope the money that is spent is enough to feel that the manager is actually to blame and isn't just a case of shifting the blame.

very good point totally agree
In time i think he will throw lots of money on improving the squad. He has to throw loads in just to get the club up and running properly ie. clearing all the debts left by GFH.
He's decided to take us on and he knows he has to spend a s...load to get us back to the prem. Thats what he wants and he will have to splash to get his wish
I'm a believer
he means business...that is clear...he has the club at heart...he's had 22 years at cagliari which imo is a club with ltd growth potential...no offence intended to any cagliari fans reading this...the thing that really sticks with me is that he has kept cagliari for a number of years even with the authorities not supporting him...there is little or no debt at the club...i don't expect him to spending zillions like chel schum & city but i do expect reasonable amount to be spent to get better quality players to get us into the PL...and at the same time have the players to keep us there....imo he'll be very good for us as long as we're behind him.....

Have to give the man a chance.
But as always, Money talks, bu11shit walks
All am bothered about is much Money he's lumping in
The manager comments!..
The reason why I never said yes or no!..
He's said he want's to do this and that, but we have to hope that whatever he want's he doesn't end up in a tug-o-war with the bods that say yes or no to whatever he want's to do, look at what happened at his other club to see what he will do!..
They say yes then all's well you could say!..
Brian coach now not manager. First change. Hope it works.
@APOPEY: #lufc Cellino expected over the dug out side for the match today and Bri Mac will don a track suit instead of his normal attire I'm hearing.
Sorry I. Just don't know yet ask me this time next season

agree your heart might be in it...but money talks in this league
Good question from original post. He certainly has charisma. The guy is talking the talk, but the jury will have to decide if he can walk the walk. Give him time. We're at rock bottom atm, so can't get any worse regarding ownership. Can it?
Yes.
And No, he's already proved he's not just hot air.
Only time will tell whether his tenure was a success, I personally think it will be an exciting ride. There will be moments of frustration and there will be periods of elation.
I am happier now he has set some sensible time scales. There will be those that criticise him for his comments about buying ER back the day after getting the club and not doing it. He has now said he hopes to buy it back during 2014 I believe. This is a more realistic approach, that said it doesn't mean he hasn't already started this course of action.
I'm looking forward to the experience.
