It wasnt incident specific, but about the greater picture.

I don't understand, Why must some blame go to the fans? What blame specifically are you talking about Edinspur?
No worries Ttliv.
What are you on about Grizzly?
The fact that almost every Liverpool fan - whether on internet forums or elsewhere - is adamant that they were 0% to blame is striking. Just like how Liverpool fans were equally adamant that Luis Suarez was innocent in the Patrice Evra affair.
My opinion is that Liverpool fans were not just to blame for Hillsborough, they were significantly to blame. Simply because we are talking about the deceased does not mean we cannot be honest. There are many dead people who contributed to their deaths, sad as it is.
We need to have one final enquiry. No stone should be left unturned. No more taxpayers' money should be wasted (I think Merseyside gets enough of that as it is!).
If Liverpool fans are shown 100% to be blameless, I will hold my hands up and apologise.
that's big of you you sanctimonious bawsack

What evidence do you have to back this up?
Why not ask me what happened before making judgement.
Did you ever go to a football ground in the 80's by the way?
And if Liverpool fans are so observant of the findings of independent panels, why did they still boo and vilify Patrice Evra after Luis Suarez was found guilty by the FA?
Like I say, nasty club and nasty fans.

Sorry if I have misread/confused things. I thought you were implying the Liverpool fans must take some blame for Hillsborough. If not, I'm sorry.
I'd love to rip your throat out. I better filter you before i get chucked off the site.
Vile folk like you come close to ruining this site

What we're dealing with here is the very reason why the fight for justice has lasted 25 years
The damage done by the cover up and the lies by the tabloids have created ppl like this hammers lad who lets be honest, doesnt really know what happened but seems to just have a dislike for the club.
See if you can address my points from earlier about why it happened on this particluar day. The fans did what they did every week.
But the security for this match changed - and thats the key
Do you blame the wright brothers for 9/11
As far as I am aware the security didn't change that day? It had been on dangerous levels for a few years?

I'm trying to be unbiased. I am going by what I have read and heard over the years regarding Hillsborough (I never read The Sc*m newspaper).
I dislike Liverpool because of their racist reputation, especially the way Ku Klux Kenny Dalglish behaved during the Partice Evra affair. However, that has not affected my conclusions when it comes to Hillsborough.

Lets be adult then and take things one at a time.
What's the first issue you think contributed?
I do not know the finer details of what happened. It's just what I have gleaned from the media. And I would not accept the argument that the media in general is anti-Liverpool.
I look at the fact that the conduct of reckless Liverpool fans caused a tragedy at Heysel. A few years later there is something similar at Hillsborough, again involving Liverpool fans. Yet we are supposed to believe that not one of them was to blame? Too much of a coincidence.
