If United get their act together it'll be very hard for both Everton and Arsenal to get back into the top4, especially if Wenger is still at the club.
I think he meant that if Martinez proves himself in Europe then he would hold out for a bigger job than Arsenal.
______
Thanks atleast you understood, This red tool laughing without reason.
I simply mentioned, Martinez or Rogers need to prove themselves in Europe before big clubs will start thinking them as potential contenders to run big name club.
Not snatching any credit away from Lpool, but let's see how they cope pressure of CL and PL next season. It's different ball game.

You talking about big IF. I would say Utd fans might need to wait for good couple of seasons before they can get back in Top4, unless they manage to pull really big signings, but then again you have avg manager in place who can ruin the progress.

You said that Rodgers and Martinez need to prove themselves in Europe before they can be contenders for the Arsenal job..
The arsenal job is no bigger in sense of prestige than the Everton or Liverpool jobs.

Arsenal are a bigger club and have more chance of winning major honours if managed properly.
Yet again nothing against Everton.

Would say the same about Everton.
Their record of getting to finals/semi finals is on a par with Arsenals in the last few years.

That's because Arsenal have been mismanaged. Under a new manager I would expect them to challenge much more than Everton.
Everton are a club that deserves investment as they continually punch above their weight only to be left behind afterwards.

Talk about Revenue, fan base, participation in CL, trophy expectations etc..then we can compare Everton and Arsenal.

Talk about being up your own ass!
You got humiliated by Everton, football is played on the pitch and not on a balance sheet.
Everton > Arsenal, deal with it.

Red, these arsenal fans sound like some of the younger Liverpool fans.
Everton are a big club, they have been mismanaged on and off the pitch. Yet with a small squad have managed to show that football played the right way gets results. Sorry Arsenal fans, the Barcalona tippy tappy passing stick to plan A is not the way forward.

It was Everton who finished above Liverpool in consecutive seasons though, yet Liverpool fans still regarded themselves as the more attractive club. Isn't it hypocrisy to say Everton are bigger than Arsenal whilst they are temporarily above them in the table?
Wow redinthehead, talk about having absolutely no clue on what is being discussed.
It isn't about who is the better team it's about the more attractive club. The two usually go hand in hand but not in this instance.
They talk about arsenal being mismanaged, they have no clue about Everton. Look at this season, you could say Moyes was mismanaging Everton for a decade!
Before him Joe Royale wasn't even in Moyes' league...
And before him, Mike Walker was an absolute disaster...
That's around 15 years if not more of mismanagement.
Arsenal fans on here really are johnny-come-latelys.
We wouldn't be discussing a new manager if things were perfect on the pitch.
Look at the spending power of the two clubs, Arsenal spent £42m on one player, Everton got in 3 loans. I wonder what is more attractive to a manager...
Moyes took Everton from relegation battles to Champions League football. What a fecking disaster.
DJM I've just jumped on one of the posters saying Rodgers and Martinez have to prove themselves in Europe before arsenal could consider them as prospective managers.
... both managers are at clubs that rival/surpass Arsenal.. There's no way either would go to Arsenal.. arsenal.

Coming from a club that was failed to loan Kalou to spur them on that's pretty rich.
Everton too have been mismanaged but I am sure Villa fans would rather have your chairman than theirs. And considering Villa are about the same size of club I think Everton are doing very well.
