Watched the game yesterday as a neutral and found myself cheering on Liverpool (until the second half when I stuck a fiver on City to win at 18/1 for the laugh).
I actually quite like Liverpool and Rodgers, it's just mainly the fans I can't stand, which tends to cloud judgement

I despise Liverpool, but feck sake that YNWA gave me goosebumps yesterday.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It always does that to me. So annoying.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
it never did before though, I hate that song but the atmosphere and with it being the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough.. my arm hairs stood up
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I deliberately put the game on at 13:40 just so I could avoid watching all the pre-match build up.
Stevieme's pretending to cry after the final whistle I found stomach churning
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You really are a bitter little girl phillipa.

Once Skrtel had got away with punching the ball in his own box
------
It wasn't skrtels fault!
If you wait a second you'll see Sakho with Skrtels arm in his shoulder.
Somehow he got between Skrtel and the attacker and managed to lever Skrtels arm up with his shoulder as he jumped.
Nothing Skrtel could do about it.

I think any non City, Chelsea or Utd fan with any sense would want Liverpool to win it.
Different teams winning the league is good for the league and could give belief to any other team 'If Liverpool can go from 7th to 1st and win the title, without spending any obscene amounts, why can't we?'
The more titles that City and Chelsea win the easier it becomes for them to keep winning, because they will just attract more and more players, earn more money to circumvent FFP, and the Prem could easily turn into La Liga has been in recent years with Real and Barca.
The whole of Europe should want an Atletico/Liverpool double.

Yup he pretended to cry just for the sake of it ... nothing to do with remembering his cousin aged ten who died at Hillsborough.
I don't want Liverpool to win at all but if they do then gotta give credit where it's due. Rodgers is a good manager. But l hope Chelsea win it or City. Not gonna lie though, it will be great seeing the Liverpool back in the CL. I quite like their CL nights.

Look....at...yourselves and your actions.
Stop deflecting from the fact you are the worst fans on the site for many reasons bar none.
We can't all be wrong.
Just deal with it.
And good luck

As much i would love to win it, unfortunately I think Chelsea will win it. Mourinho will set up a very defensive team to not lose to us at Anfield, something like Allardyce or Pulis would do, but he'll be lauded a "genius" for it. They'll sneak a win and that puts them ahead.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I disagree I think for the most part your prediction of how they will setup is true.
But I just think we will criss cross around their players - if we play at the same pace as we did the first half, its ours

Not sure how much gloating you'd get from us fans.
Nobody besides Got_Better will have the right to say 'told you so' because non of us expected this!
True sterling, we'd be celebratory and receive pelt by I press coverage with all manner of B and C listers coming out saying they're Liverpool fans.
But for most of us it would be relief more than anything that we've won it.
But.. we need to win the next four games.
