We need several players.
A left back is a definite IMO.
A keeper is possible as further cover.
A centre back is possible if we sell one.
A right back is probably unlikely now unless Johnson leaves, due to Flan being so good.
At least one centre mid is likely.
At least one wide player is likely.
A striker is possible if Aspas and/or Borini leave.
I would say we are looking at anything from 3-7 arrivals.
Giroud??
Would rather we keep Borini and have him on the bench
What we definitely have lacked this season, even with a fully fit squad, is attacking options off the bench.
Luckily because our starting 11 attack is so good we haven't needed to call on the likes of Moses/Aspas off the bench to get us a goal.
Having the likes of Lucas/Allen coming off the bench to change formation has been very useful and has been our main weapon.
Would like to see us go after a real top quality left back, it may be expensive but a long term option will definitely be worth the money. Another striker would help, but if not keep Borini.. has shown enough this season in his loan spell that he can be useful for us.
Another centre mid I think is essential. Gerrard will not be able to play three games a week while the Champions League is gone, he will need to be carefully rotated unlike Hendo who will probably still play everygame because he is a machine.
Be good if we could find a rough diamond striker, someone like Suarez , that llalana player I'd take him great player and didn't no he was a red
As Neo says, we need someone on the bench who can come off it and make a real difference, otherwise why would they be on the bench in the first place?
Brendan got the job because he said he would recruit and develop from within, for the club to be almost, almost self-sufficient in the coming years, in total contrast therefore to City and Chelsea. And Real and Barca. And PSG. And then develop to a stage where LFC can spank the ar se off of each of the aforementioned Sugar Daddy clubs.
That's Brendan's plan for the future of the club. It's so obvious that even I can see that.

Yes that's right, I speak to the guy every day. Just check out what John Hendry himself said about that same subject.
Poor wee thing.
