Jaaskelainen was quality for many years at bolton,how he never got a move to one of the top clubs is a mystery,obviously declined in later years and he is 39 now.

He was decent, but no way is he in the top 5 keepers of the PL era.

5th could be any of Given, Martyn, Shwartzer or Jaaskelainen... shocked that you dont rate Jaaskelainen as one of the best of the PL era. As someone said, travesty that he never moved to a top club.

I didn't really look at the order, I just saw Schmeichel not at number one and laughed.

This is the one area of the PL that is never debated. PS is the greatest, probably of all time, and nobody else even comes close.

I think everyone is forgetting Shaka Hislop.

Nah, I just don't rate him that highly. He was excellent but still only 4th best IMO.

Are there Any keepers of the current crop that you think could make it into the top 5 if the keep playing? I think de geA looks as if he's gonna be an exceptional keeper but I can see one if the Spanish clubs come knocking soon.

None, De Gea needs to grow a serious pair of balls. He's good but nowhere close to the ability of VDS or Schmeichel.
Joe Hart won't even be the best English goalkeeper to have played in the PL.

You don't rate him because you're an Arsenal fan. Therefore when it comes to football you're facking clueless
