As long as Messi is there no other new player of note will fit in
We've made a lot of progress. Competed for the title for most of the season, gonna end the season with more points than we have in a long time, we've improved a lot defensively, gonna win a trophy for the first time in 9 years etc.
If esc joins another Prem club my hate for him will explode through the roof. The scu.mbag will be slowly forgiven if he comes back here and starts making up for the damage he caused.

Barca will never change their style, regardless of who the manager isesc will struggle.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know, I think this summer might see a couple of interesting changes at Barca.
We've made some progress. Some. But not enough, and in some areas we've stayed frustratingly static.
No idea what the fúck is going to happen this summer at Arsenal. I don't even think many people at the club do.
Hoping Barca's ban is overturned and the new manager tells Cesc to do one. If Vilanova didn't get ill, Cesc would be out of the door. Unless they plan an internal recruit, Cesc will yet again stay on...

*one real positive IMO is that we have some potential Arsenal legends in this squad. Not all, if any will make it to that status but these could:
Gibbs - Will need to improve a lot but shows signs of a great LB for years to come, injuries worry me though.
Wilshere - see Gibbs.
Ramsay - see Wilshere? Fingers crossed as he doesn't actually appear injury prone just obviously had the nightmare one off which will have a few niggling after effects no doubt. He looked awful for large chunks of last season but my word has he turned it around, long may it continue.
Szczęsny - Focus man!
Ozil - Definitely has the talent but our set up needs to be right for him to truly shine.
Walcott - I certainly doubted him but he looks the real deal, possible injury issues again though.
Ox - early days but he really seems to step up when others hide away.

"Forgive me as this is going to sound smug but I sighted last season as a one off in terms of how lucky we were with injuries. Perhaps this year we've been a little worse off than usual but IMO until something changes dramatically (if I knew exactly what I'd be working for Arsenal implementing this...) to stop how many injuries we have. We really do suffer worse than other sides and are so so often top of the injury table. Take a 5 year look rather than just sighting last year which was our best for a very long time injury wise."
===
Well if it was something to do with the medical staff I'm sure something would've been done about it by now, it's not rocket science. We've just had super bad luck this season, for example Chambo doing his ACL, or Fio doing his ACL has nothing to do with medical staff, it just happens.
"Our end of last season was similar to the start of this...
Last season we had an awful first half and a great second.
This season Visa Versa. (the same)
Winning the FA Cup is great but it's not a sign of a team ready to challenge at the top (see Wigan, Pompey etc) which is what we need to be doing to signal real progress. "
===
Difference is the run in the second half of last season was mainly against lower teams and teams that had nothing to play for, plus we had our best players available most of the time.
I agree winning the cup doesn't mean you can win the PL, competing for the PL does...and we've done that.
"100% agree that we look far far better with them but we've certainly sacrificed some attack for defense. Like I said, I'm more than happy with this. To be fair with a better CF, some world class midfield steal and those other guys fit there's no real reason why we can't produce truly beautiful football again on a regular basis."
===
I still think there are some positives for sure, just before your first reply I mentioned we've got some genuine contenders for future club legends.
Just feel this season itself hasn't been as positive or as bigger step in the right direction as you're making out.
The reason people don't want Liverpool to win the title is because their fans are unbearable enough as it is. Can you imagine the arrogance of those tards over the summer/ next season?
And it's not just that they've played a few less games either. They've played 13 less games. Their players have stayed fit because they've played once a week all season.
So yes, they've played some top draw football, but every other top 4 team could do that if they had their starting 11 fresh and uninjured every game.
They're also the media darlings which really winds me up. We get to a cup final and are hammered for celebrating. Gerrard cries on the pitch after beating City and the press love it. "He's such a nice guy, all round top personality, he deserves it" He ruthlessly assaulted some bloke in a nightclub, don't give me that nice guy bull.
And a foot-note, whilst fatigue contributes to our injuries, it doesn't excuse our worse than average record or poor transfer market activity, both of which cost us the league. Seeing as this happens every season, I'm losing faith this will be addressed in the summer.

Seeing City and Chelsea bottle it makes me sick. The same won't happen next season. We had our chance and the league and we blew it. We've paid for the last 2 transfer windows.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That is simply wrong. Football is unpredictable and the failure of City and Chelsea only show that you can't buy a winning team....
But the injuries are our fault. Poor medical staff, lack of decent back for certain players when there's more than enough money there, embarrassing transfer windows.
how can you say that injuries are our own fault?

United can strengthen all they want, we won't be going anywhere with the clown sitting in our dugout.
Kam do you not look at Liverpool and think to yourself 'that should be us'. If we invested properly last Summer it could well have been. That is the thing that winds me up. We knew when we won at Newcastle that with all the upheaval at the clubs around us, the title was there for the taking and we blew it.
Make no mistake, Chelsea and City will strengthen in the Summer. So will United. The title is going to be even harder to win next season EVEN if we spend wisely.

eh? Buy the right players and get rid of some and sort out the mess. A lot to do though.
We can have a world class 11 and it wouldn't be going anywhere with Moyes

Is this a joke GT? The answer is above your facking question... the reasons for our players getting injured are without doubt at least partly OUR fault.
A Ramsey Shawcross nightmare injury is obviously not Arsenals fault but the constant muscle problems and hilarious recovery times for minor injuries does not happen over and over and over again without there being a reason for it and bad luck is not a reason.

Yeah true...our muscular problems are an issue that needs to be sorted out. But it's an issue of several years now.
We burn out our main players and overplay them. We need to invest in "real" depths in this team. The basis is already there.
