A truly dreadful article, one of the worst I have seen this year. I can't even tell if it's meant to be a wum or not.

You been on the Spurs board recently

On another note, I don't recall Liverpool fans having quite the same pragmatic view of penalty awards when United were winning the league. But that is a separate debate.

Actually I think that's exactly the reason for this cleverly disguised WUM

Swansea had around 20 penalties in 2 seasons under Brendan and that statistic has carried over since the great man took over at anfield so it proves to me that his open attacking quick style brings rash desperate challenges from defenders!"

There is possibly some truth in that, and I enjoy the style of play he fosters. But it doesn't explain why Liverpool (or anyone else) are always on the right end of the decisions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since when were Liverpool 'always' on the right end of decisions? For two seasons running we have topped the debatable decisions table, This season we've had two penalties which shouldn't have been but way more that should have.

We're by far the most attacking team in the league with probably the three most tricky players in the league, in Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge.

There's no good just seeing us getting the most penalties, if you feel strongly about it, why don't you acquire the data - how many penalties were we given which shouldn't have been(it's two by the way) and how many weren't we given which should have been(many more than two).

Show some incidents which we were awarded a penalty when it shouldn't have been.

If we had zero penalties given this season, Penalty Spot wouldn't even make an article on it.

Yes, this could be applied to any club, not just Liverpool. But following their ascent, and Mourinho's comments, it seemed topical.

I am leaning more towards the mindset of the referees, rather than the "bias" and "set up by the FA" viewpoints.

Even in the last game, Sterling was fouled in the area but his arms went out and it looked like a dive to me, in real time. When I saw the replay I was wondering why he didn't go after the referee. I'm guessing it's because his arms went out and he feared being booked for diving but I haven't heard nothing about it.

""It's never your fault" on another thread then expect us not to believe you're a wum?"

????

Have I missed something?? That was my first entry on that thread, which apparently has a load of links to Suarez diving. I was referring to the comment that was basically defending him and excusing him, because someone put a tackle in.

It's a mixture of bottle and judgement on behalf of the ref isn't it? No matter who is playing who, if the ref genuinely concludes that what he or his linesman saw is in fact a penalty, then it's a penalty, end of.

Isn't it just a chant that often gets sung?
Like "you only sing when you're winning"
Or "Are you watching xxxx?"

It's just a phrase. One I've heard before, admittedly, but I am not claiming to have invented it, so what is the accusation??

So far his articles have been WUMming Liverpool, Arsenal and United. The only positivity he has shown is towards Chelsea.

Are United the biggest cheats ever?
Are United the worst team to win the Champions League ever?
Have Arsenal ever won the European Cup? - I've searched everywhere and can't find it etc.
Liverpool awarded penalties because of Hillsborough

Your intentions are clear.

I can now see where you'e going with this, and you are drawing a horrible conclusion. It would be poignant for them to win the league this year, of all years, much like United winning the CL 50 years on from Munich.

I don't know what you think my intentions are, but not everything is a dig at Hillsborough.

And when did I say United were the biggest cheats?? that article came out of a thread with another Liverpool fan, with whom I was discussing Inter Milan in the 1965 EC semi.

As for Arsenal, I'll give you that one.

That wasn't a foul TOOR. Sterling didn't go to the ref because he knew it wasn't a foul. The same way no Liverpool player appealed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought it was, after seeing the replay. He tried to go past the player and the player put out a leg, causing Sterling to trip. I'd love to see it again though because I have serious doubts considering Sterling didn't make much off it, just a glance back at the referee and nobody has said anything about it.

And who said that?? Nobody.
Most people said Liverpool, and a few Chelsea.

I didn't say you made a dig at Hillsborough. You've been subtle enough to avoid such things after your last ban. You're still WUMming the same three teams you did on your last account though. It's quite pathetic really.

If I were banned and I got back on again, I wouldn't be so sad to go back to being the toerag I was before, I'd take the opportunity to actually use the site what it was intended for.

You know what you were doing. If you think people are stupid then you have a pretty elevated opinion of yourself.

You've been trying to set up arguments between rival fans since you came back on here.

Therein lies your problem. I have not been banned, nor do I deserve to be.

And which three teams have I "wummed"??

It's obvious that he's a returning banned user, got no idea who though.

Hector is my guess. WUMs the same teams, has decent enough language and thinks he's clever. Was also banned around a week ago.

Pure co-incidence. As I say, I think he's still about.
Who did he support?
