Why Liverpool are awarded penalties

It wasn't so much the pens being awarded for Liverpool, but you asked why Chelsea and City were given favourable decisions. I doubt they were only given favourable decisions when they played you.

Chelsea used to get them every other week. It's part and parcel of being top I suppose. It's about being good enough to exploit those opportunities.

But Chelsea didn't used to get them every other week, I don't suppose you have any evidence of that also? Or even a reason you base that opinion on?

some are saying that the only reason they are is because of the referees.

Yes, that's true, I've come across one or two of them myself. Highly entertaining, when people get so bitter that they start rationalising it with thought-processes that a seven-year-old would be ashamed of.

But it's a minority, albeit a highly amusing one.

I think its a similar thing to the "debatable decision table". I can't remember what it was called. But it was to do with dubious decisions (Right Result or something), and although they were top of the league. They would have finished about 4th if the ref had made the right call.

I seem to remember the ref making some dodgy decisions at OT against Chelsea in 2010, which actually cost United the title.

Are you a United fan? You seemed to take offence at me wrongly(after reading the articles and not just the titles) accusing you of WUMming United and have been mentioning United getting wronged throughout the comment process in regards to other teams getting decisions. It seems to me you only watch United games and all your opinions are coming from those games in which you've decided United were wronged.

Let's clarify what you have actually said.

1. Liverpool have been awarded soft and generous penalties.
2. This is due to the anniversary of Hillsborough.
3. Also due to referees not wanting to affect the title.
4. Referees would obviously give penalties due to being in front of the Liverpool support.

Now let's give the answers which throw these theories out because you're going around in circles ignoring the answers, once you've answered this, we can continue.

1. Liverpool have been awarded two penalties which shouldn't have been and haven't been awarded many more that should have, so can you provide the evidence of Liverpool being awarded "soft and generous' penalties.

2. Why did we not get all these decisions on other years of the anniversary of Hillsborough, in fact why have we went backwards in all the seasons after it, with all this help from referees?
3.Why did the referees not award us penalties against Chelsea and City, which were clear penalties, considering we were top of the league and it has been very rare for a team top at Christmas not to win the league, thus him affecting the title?
4. Why have the vast majority of our penalties been away from home, considering it's our home fans which have caused the referee to give us decisions?

No dodging please.

Let's put it to the test....
Today is the Hillsborough memorial game..

So the ref will certainly be thinking about Hillsborough, and both teams are Liverpool.

So...

Either teams should get a pen every time the ball goes in the penalty area.

If they don't, the op's case is disproven... let's watch.."

It was 2-1. Drogba scored an offside goal, and Mancheda pulled one back from a handball. What cost United the title was the fact that Chelsea comprehensively out-played them.

Fergie obviously didn't see it that way, but that's what everybody else saw, including the more honest United fans.

Now it has deleted my article after I proved he was a United fan WUMming all of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea and running away from this thread after he couldn't answer my points.

That's strange. Earlier on you'd tried to convince everyone I was a Chelsea fan.
