Anyone think Fergie will come out of retirement for a season or two to steady the ship?

I wanted him to retire. Do you know why?

Yes because we were playing poorly, teams didn't fear us, his tactics were poor, team selections were strange and he didn't strenghten the team...

Playing poorly, over reliance on Giggs and Scholes, playing players out of position.

So if I was critical of the great man who had done so much for us, what makes you think I would give Moyes a free ride?

Wouldnt mind SAF back but its better to go for Klopp or simeone, those guys could build a legacy at United

SAF got the time to sort things out, so why shouldn't Moyes.

because SAF a winner, Moyes is a looser

Just a shame a vast amount of Utd fans didn't think that at the time they wanted rid

Yeah I'd love Klopp, I think Simeone could be good as well and would reinvigorate our defence.

I don't think Fergie will come out of retirement anyway.

The club stood by him because of his record. With Moyes, there is nothing to hold on to

SAF took over a team battling relegation and improved them tremendously, He may had a bad season but board's trust in him is warranted because he has proven himself to be a winner before joining us

Moyes took over champions and brought us down to 7th and his track record doesnt warrant any backing. He wouldn even be considered for the job If we had a protocol when appointing a manager

----------------------------------------------------

Simply because there were a number of signs which indicated SAF was potentially a top manager. With Moyes unfortunately, there aren't.

In his first season SAF put a stop to the drinking culture, improved the players' fitness levels, took a team from 2nd bottom of the league when he took over to 11th, then to 2nd the following season and made some very good signings during that time who contributed greatly.

Despite us dropping off significantly the season after that, there was more reason to believe from the previous two campaigns and from his time at Aberdeen that things would likely improve.

Compare that with Moyes and this season and also his time at Everton. From that there is very little reason to believe he can turns things around and get us to the level we should really be aiming for given the size of our club and the resources at our disposal.

You can't compare the two situations.

yeah, he would bring in Koke with him as well

SAF did not inherit the champions or the Manchester United that exists today

What do you think of Montella?

Can this comparison between Moyes and Fergie please end.

It's just not a comparison.

Screen, I dunno about that. I think Koke probably has more of an attachment to the club itself than Simeone.

TRS, plays good football. Not qualified for the United job though.
