Bats, yeah that's kinda my thinking.
Who knows, maybe the chance to revitalise this United side and get paid a wack for doing it could tempt him - it's certainly a tempting off for any manager.
It'll be a big test of his loyalty to Dortmund that's for sure.
If that's not the case and LVG does come in that may be a short term option until Klopp may become available?
Who knows. Managers are unknown one minute and the next they're so sort after, the opposite also happens.
I think that's one of the reasons the club was hoping we wouldn't have to enter the managerial merry-go-round and could have a long term manager that would ensure stability - sadly football isn't always that simple and they've appointed a man not good enough.
The only thing I can think of re. Klopp's revised contract at Dortmund is it was in preparation for the summer and they'll now be able to demand a much greater compensation fee for him but that's clutching at straws really as I've already said he'll more than likely be there next season.

We should pay him anything and get him. We may not win anything but the football will be pleasing on the eye

Klopp gets the job, we're stuck in mid table but its ok we're playing football thats pleasing on the eye, i can just see the board saying don't worry its fine
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm confused here, you want Moyes to stay but we are in midtable and playing crap?
Surprised Sven hasn't thrown his hat in the ring yet
Telegraph say Moyes only gets 1 years compensation rather than the rest of the full contract as he missed key performance targets.
Explains why this news comes out straight after we are mathematically ruled out of the top 4.
They also say Giggs will take over till the end of the season with Nicky Butt as his assistant.

Glazers are smarter than people em credit for, I think we can trust them to bring in a good replacement
It could be that Klopp is the guy we want but right now he wants to stay at Dortmund. In that case who is the choice for a year or two? LVG? Laudrup? Giggs? SAF? McClaren? Capello? Ramos? Lippi? Hodgson?

I want us to challenge for honours but if we do not, good football is a good consolation.
Not challenging for honours and playing crap is not acceptable.

They are the paper with the best information about this sort of stuff.
Barf, yeah I said a similar thing.
People may disagree, but I actually think the best short term option is the great man himself.
Busby comparison aren't that relevant to me because Fergie is better and football has changed.
Daily mail said the club hadn't even told Moyes he was sacked, he found out via the newspapers
Butt is currently working with the reserves.
