Moyes walks away a rich man and all he has done is ruin us.

Why do you think he was smiling in all his interviews?

Klopp wears a baseball cap ffs, who else (apart from tony pulis) wears a baseball cap nowadays?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He wears trackie bottoms in the dugout too
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If we get Klopp, watch the club merchandising dept bring out its own personalised Klopp outfit

His recent record hasen't been impressive; sacked by Bayern after failing to deliver silverware (who a few short seasons later are the European powerhouse) and failing to take a 2010 Cup Finalists in Holland past the Euro group stages.

He alienates players, supposing he adores van Persie and the power struggle between Robin and Rooney for the alpha male role in the side, we could see Rooney (a player relying on emotional stability) being completely left out the side, and no-one will want to sign him on his wage; thus we will be left with a longterm £300,000 a week benchwarmer.

But im worried about the availability of Klopp, although we have a luring proposition for managers (taking over the worlds biggest team, £200m as a budget and you cant be worse then Moyes) if he hinted at a move, then the likes of Barca would come calling. Never mind he recently said he was still in love with Dortmund, plus his contract with Dortmund is until 2018 I believe. He'd be hard, but it'd be worth every penny and every effort to sign him. Dont forget he can bring Reus with him

Van Gaal announced he was leaving Holland after the World Cup around 8 months ago. Hiddink is taking over from him after

I would've loved Hiddink, fergie should've got him in first

hiddink is overrated for me

He's great, that was the perfect man to steady the ship for us until Pep, Jose, Carlo or Klopp would've been available

So we'll go through half the summer without a manager. Pointless in such a huge window

Yep that's what's being argued about him, we won't start preseason with him until July

He'll stay until Holland finish their World Cup campaign. Which is a problem if they go really far. The final is only 3 days before we go off on tour. Very little preparation and we could be in the same situation as last summer where the manager is installed late and any transfer targets aren't identified quickly enough, or are rushed.

That wasn't Van Gaal. He was the manager manager when they failed to qualify for the 2002 world cup, however.

He can do both. These football clubs virtually manage themselves nowadays.

Hiddink would only be a short term fix

@dwright75: Led to believe Klopp has absolutely no interest in joining #mufc Or any other PL club for that matter

He works for the Star..

To be honest I'd be more confident in Gaal being a success than Klopp, generally down to Gaals experience in dealing with different cultures while also being a success abroad.

@RedIssue: Fergie's become very isolated on MUFC board. He has few friends left there & he's far from happy about it. Don't expect his resignation tho.

So does everyone think it will be a seasoned finished article manager rather than up and coming rodgers, simeone, pochettino type?

I highly doubt we will go for an upcoming manager as that's what Moyes was classed as. We will go for a proven manager
