Spurs fans expect too much these days.

Apparently Sherwood is incompetent despite averaging nearly 2 points per game

It's not been a great season but at least avb is gone

In fact, during the season most have said that now, more than ever, anyone can beat anyone.

Conjecture.

The fact is we're looking at teams staying up with 34-35 points, virtually unheard of.. there's less points going around for teams in the bottom 6.

Yes I guess we were. But Newcastle have been pretty awful for a while.

How many of the performances of these games have we been satisfied with though? Almost every one has seen a lack of organisation and any clue in general.

I just don't understand how Tim sets his teams up to play it's amusing more then anything to look at a team sheet and have your most creative CM playing LM is a joke.

Agree arry. It also stifles the players who do play centrally by having no DM behind them.

The use of Chadli is equally baffling to me. He was becoming a decent attacking threat for us, and suddenly Sherwood puts him in midfield.

We must have a hell of a team then

If clueless Tim can get 2 points per game, the new manager should have us challenging for the league

Winning isn't enough, we have to win in style

Actually we do have a decent team. It's been much derided this season, mostly justified, but it's also been mishandled.

Winning ugly is fine if you don't make a habit of it. Eventually you need to win playing well. However many games in Sherwood is, I don't see this changing.

We had a good manager, who we sacked.

We had some top players, family men too, who we sold....

All pretty standard.

AVB had a poor second season and Sherwood is blagging it (pretty well though).

And a few of our key players lack bottle, and are always 'injured'. Once again, standard.

Shouldn't we be in a new stadium by now .

"nothing - we are more or less where we are every single year"

We were 4th, 5th and 4th again.

To claim this season is comparable is mouser like delusion, no offense.

Also, our record against the big teams hasn't been this bad since...? I dunno, Hoddle maybe?

well we could easily end up 5th this season ....

also 4th and 6th is only far apart because top 4 happens to be cut off for CL, in terms of how good we are as a team, its not that big

hence the "we are more or less where we are every single year", which is absolutely true

yeah. its been terrible. but I am looking at where we end up (league wise and points wise) over a 38 game season, not some kind of mini league v Chelsea Liverpool etc etc

anyway spurs are not a very good side, and that basically just shows that the prem is one of the most overated leagues in the world
