No doubt the next time the senior sides meet it will have a lot of additional elements to it given the time since we last did so and everything that has occurred in the meantime.
that said it wont be the same mix off support as has attended the youth games that have kicked off this season. I doubt many in attendance last night and at Firhill earlier in the season are season book holders. Even if some are the manner in which away tickets are allocated it would be a small percentage who would receive one if any at all.
Wont be pretty but not so sure it will be as bad as some think but stand my fears that if it is at Parkhead the damage will be significant

PS From what we are being told Ibrox is so run down that any damage inflicted the other way would be hard to identify

Honestly while I miss the buzz of an OF game I have to say it has got less so with time. I think a lot of it has come from the way things have gone across the city as it just don't even seem like the same old enemy anymore in a lot of ways. Hard to put into words but high on the list has been the absence of the hate in the SPL seasons that have come since.

Still cant get my head around why they set up the scenario of last night though when had they been seated at opposite ends or sides of the ground the entire scenario that unfolded would have had no opportunity to occur

Media are loving it though

Flares and smoke bombs aren't my biggest concern to be perfectly honest, although i think they are silly and stupid it's not something i would be up in arms about.

It's this attempt at making our games like Turkish or Greek games where fans don't watch the game, they just damage stadiums and goad each other and the police

These wee phanny's need to be booted out now, although the green brigade weren't represented last night there are too many wee fuds who want to be like them and it's a disgrace that from what i hear a good young Celtic side played some fantasic football and it's overshadowed by these wee idiots

As I said above mate these neds only have the opportunity at this level as seriously doubt they are season book holders in the main for either club.
Barring some potential higher octane drama given recent events in the first few encounters would be really surprised if senior level matches were significantly different to the last 20 years or so

Another embarassment to our game last night.

And it wasn't just Rangers fans embarassing the game last night either.

these wee tools go to these games and growl and act angry about how much they hate their rivals because they think it makes them bigger fans.

this applies to both sets of fans, but for an example look at Manchester. thousands of wee dobbers who went to none of the qualifiers and probably no games in the past 10 years turned up with mcewans lager tops trying to act like angry wee die hards, it was a pathetic sight.

wasn't the ones who attended the other games, it was the rangers equivalent to other spl teams "family final" fans.

BTW, the sun printed a picture in their paper today of Celtic fans with flares and their faces covered. This pic was from Hamburg away in 2009

RnR

Seen the pictures this morning, it's the most dumb-founded thing in the world for people to break seats, it's their club that has to pay for them

If the wee cants damaged their own stadium then I would say hang the fecking lot of them and batter their faithers if they did not turn them in

RnR, i've not seen that yet, there were pics last night of this doing the rounds and clearly shows the fans behind a fence.... if the Sun has printed this then they have a very big complaint coming from some people, especially if the people in the picture can be identified

that's the sun for you.

rag of a newspaper, don't read it, don't look at it, certainly don't buy.

paper deeply in love with the word "romp"

the suns the kind of paper that when September 11 happened they would have tried to fit in some sort of mile high story

"terrorist in stewardess romp"

paper is directly responsible for Katie Price.

Good to hear mate and what I would have expected
Was responding to rnr's suggestion as to why they were not placed sufficiently far enough away from each other to avoid direct confrontation

I am going from the pics I have seen and to me there was no end NHH they are adjacent , that was the point I was making n the OP what fecking genius came up with that idea

The only possible scenario that I can think of was it was the police who said we want to be able to concentrate our forces or such like. If so then let me tall ya noo gov you fecked up bad

posted on 29/4/14

Aye I just meant the whole police presence etc, would have been easier for them to deal with just the one stand

Looked like daft wee boys , totally expected for these events ...im sure nobody is suprised

It does make me fear a little for the next time our daddy teams meet though .

If the full side make it back to the top league would hope this fixture goes back to a quite family and friends of the players crowd of a 1000 or so

Precident can be a bassa at times though and the neds younger brothers etc wanting to emulate those who came before them

posted on 29/4/14

Might be wrong but unless it was just not reported because the main event was still in existence cant recall any significant trouble at these fixtures prior to the extinction event

I don't miss it CT I really don't

winning is great but losing is unbearable, coupled with the trouble off the park it seems to bring.

I don't need it.
