I said a while ago, even if Sunderland got relegated he shouldn't be overlooked, I also admire Lambert at Villa too, might get shot down for obvious reasons but cant help but admire the balls he has because his team is so young probably youngest n the league. Sending Bent on loan etc too, they don't play bad football either tbf and can destroy bigger teams on the counter too.
How have I ended up with a bunch of Pool fans answering? Was it the Borini comment?
But if I was a Spurs fan top 3 on manager wishlist would be in this order
FDB
GP
MP
because I guess we were looking on the premer league board ?
Tbh they not for Wrong.....can't see anyone worth they salt wanting to work with this rabble and itchy trigger finger levy....
If we got any of those 3 I wouldn't mind. Maybe I'd rank FDB first too because of his title-winning experience, but then he doesn't have that PL experience.
Good to have Poyet as another viable option anyway.
They are just lucky team.
Not a bad shout.
I want the new man to be young and play attacking football to give us an identity.
Pochettino would be ideal, although wouldn't be upset with FDB or Poyet.

Under Poyet Sunderland have:
Reached their first final for 22 years
Done the double over Newcastle
Beaten City
Beaten Everton away
Beaten Chelsea twice home and away
Avoided relegation
Sherwood says anyone who hasn't played in the premier league cannot have an opinion!
Really poor in interviews or been told he has blown any chance of getting the job
I like Gus as well Spurtle and to be honest, anyone but Sherwood. More than anything though, I want to know soon.
Poyet is an interesting option, however would like to know exactly what happened at Brighton!
No doubt about his football knowledge and ability & certainly a vast improvement on Sherwood.
My preference is still any one from Benitez, Pochettino & due Boer.
Poyet would be a decent option as he has greater knowledge of English football than De Boer or Pochettino, but it is all a bit moot given that the other parts of the machine are broken:
Chairman: the second it looks like top 4 is off the manager is sacked. Or you finish 4th but were 3rd earlier in the season. Signing on 31 August because it saves a few quid.
Supporters: sh...ocking atmosphere at the lane every fortnight (don't blame the football it was the same under 'arry)
DoF: less so, given he has been here under a year, but lots of his signings need a strong second season.
Stadium: Ou est la stadium?
Whoever gets the job, to be a success they need time and all of the above to suddenly turn 180°.
whatever
Ha! Accidental 'whatever'.
