Thing is it was last Sunday afternoon and she had the car, I was watching the footy and just txt here to make sure I had enough for the night.
I'm a Stella man or similar normally.
Then she comes back with that 5h1t and upon me questioning her as to why she'd brought that, the answer????

I would. He went to ground and then pulled out of the challenge. He stands up and the cross becomes far harder to make, and most likely a corner. It was a terrible decision.
Just because we won, doesn't mean mistakes can't be highlighted.

Of course they can be highlighted, its a forum so that's encouraged, but a contrary opinion is just as important as the opinion itself.
He expected a cross and slid in to block but was megged and had to pull out to avoid tripping Matic and giving away a pen while we had players covering. Next came Hendo who also slid in just like Matip yet I've seen nothing said of it. We had other chances to stop them that were unsuccessful too and Matip started the attack and wasn't tracked properly, running through to receive Hazard's pass with space to pick a cross. He dummied a desperate Matip and somehow got it past a few others, including Hendo's slide tackle.
I'm not saying Matip didn't make a mistake but looking at the passage of play I'd say a number of errors were made. You can't put it all down to Matip and one incident IMO is all.

Don't think it was 'terrible' from Matip. It wasn't great, but he was left exposed by Hendo and Lallana failing to track Matic, as G Nev pointed out in commentary.
It was poor from us all round, at a time when the game was so easy for us that we switched off IMO.
The game was going nowhere for ten minutes before the goal.
I agree that there were other to blame as well. Hendo went chasing the ball instead of covering the run. That was what gave Matic the space to run into, so arguably the one most at fault. But I do also think that Matip got his own decision making very wrong. For a centre back, the right thing to have done was stay on his feet and he could have covered the cross and anything else.... It's a question we're always asking in hindsight, why do defenders go to ground so easily in the area?

Rafa takes criticism for his spending but this is a perfect example of how it went down. Rafa spots Viddy, Viddy is ready to sign but the cowboys dilly dally and before you know it the Mancs have swooshed in allowing a top player an years of success to continue at United.

Without a doubt. We definitely look more secure at set pieces, which cuts down opposition chances by about 75% in our case!
Hadn't seen Chelsea's next game is at the Emirates. If we can manage to beat Hull and Swansea we could at least take the blow well if we don't beat the Mancs.
