Great game last night, I could get used to Friday football.

Do we play again on a Friday?
In general I'm not really a fan as I'll be in work while the games are on. Yesterday just happened to fall on a good day for me
None yet but the TV games are only set to the end of October.
As us and Chelsea are the biggest teams who can be on in European weeks, I would guess we will be on a few more before the end of the season.

Yea but how's their records away to Burnley compare?
We started the weekend 6th. After today we will end up 7th despite winning on Friday. Shows how tight it's going to be between the top 7 this season.
I really hope we can get a handle on beating the lesser teams following a big win...
We have had the hardest start to the season and have a good points haul, would have been even better had we gotten our deserved win vs spurs.
But it's a matter of putting teams like bloody Burnley to bed, really need klopp to learn a different strategy against these teams is necessary
14 games against Chelsea, city, united, spurs and arsenal since klopp took over.
2 losses, including the cup final on penalties..
Express says we will try to sign Dahoud again for £25m in January.
Will only have one year left on his deal next summer when all the world and his brother will likely be in for him so hopefully nab him early.
Suppose we will see how consistent we will be after these next two games against Hull and Swansea.
We've only won 3 league games on the spin before Christmas in one of the last five seasons. That was the 13/14 season where we started with 3 wins. Hopefully we can get the result against Hull next weekend to really stay in the mix at the top. Few teams up there playing against each other next week too.

He's started the season poorly apparently.
'Head turned' like Origi in France when we signed and loaned him back when he didn't really want to.
I can definitely see the move happening.
Hull and Swansea by extension will be a big test. Will tell us a lot about how our season will pan out.
Is dahoud good? i know little about him..
He looked very good the few times I saw him last season.
Has everything you want in a midfield player.
He's only young though.
So, Spurs draw, then we finish the weekend in 5th.

The Jose meltdown is happening after 3 months, rather than the predicted 3 years.

I wonder if Joe Allen is feeling so good about his move now...
No Sturridge or Firmino in training today. Firmino will miss the cup game but should be back for Hull.
Sturridge is on his own tailored training regime which may explain his absence but would be surprised if he makes it either.
